What are Nishant and Rupi doing in the show?

Till today, only these 2 permanent characters are the one who always supported Imlie irrespective of any situation... but after Malini degradation started, what are they actually doing in the show...I mean they both are well educated and somewhere knows what malini is capable of doing...so why makers can't do anything with these 2 characters... atleast make them planning something for Malini pardafash and getting failed in the end is even fine...but atleast make them some doing something...they are just standing and nothing else .such a waste of two talented characters and on the end , actors also

Correctly said....if makers want, then they can easily make Rupi turning Life hell for Malini in many ways with help of Nishant....as when the time come for believe for any kaand, for sure Rupi will have upper hand and malini has to go from some torture atleast
