I feel the same way as you. Adi has been so blind and distrusting of Imlie, in spite of her repeated pleas and attempts to open Adi's eyes to the truth.I cannot relate to his lack of thought process, that too a partaker, how can it never even enter his head that Imlie is telling that truth and if so what the implication of that is? The fact that he is not doing that suggests a strong unquestionable implicit trust of Malini over Imlie which does not bode well for Imli's married life esp when Malini is expecting Adi's nanhe jaan. I cannot see how anyone can question Imlie for leaving T house and cutting him off from her life. Even the T's seem to trust Imlie more than Adi, and see Malini for who she is. He doesn't care. He's indifferent to her pain and discomfort. So much for iski razamandi ski comfort hamari pehli priority hain. He's an insensitive husband, a loser not worthy of discussion imo. And the Ts are equal losers and hypocrites. When they trust imlie then they should understand that M shot herself and act on this knowledge. I despise that bunch of losers now.
I can't believe some fans want Imlie to be more accommodating of Adi's mistakes and treat him better and even go back to him. What do they want her to do? For the sake of Adi's questionable love with 0 trust and disregard of Imlie's wishes wrt Malini's presence at T house, go back for more abuse? Seriously seriously!! They think Imlie could've done more. What more? I don't see anything more that she could do. People can't see adi in pain so they want her to go back and fix things for him + the pati parameshwar attitude. Not to offend anyone but pati is not parmeshwar, he's a companion, partner - both are equal and need to put in equal efforts to save their relation. I just can't believe ppl are asking lmlie to go back to that hellhole to be abused by her own husband(emotionally) and in all ways by his bestie. This is insanity!
Maybe Aryan has hidden motives, but let Imlie make her mistakes just like Adi and learn from them. Why can't she make her decisions esp when Adi seems to want to make his independent of her feelings in their marriage. It is not a partnership. It has always been Imlie deferring to what Adi wants. Adi seems unable to even understand leave alone empathize with Imlie's position and feelings. He is not even trying to see her POV. What kind of love is this? He is so entitled - that he cannot see his own hypocrisy. Imlie has tried everything and it seems he needs this huge jhatka. Even with this jhatka I expect more self pity not any understanding of the situation. Having an intelligent man like Aryan in the show is a breath of fresh air...even if he will turn negative. Brainless puppets the T's and Adi are - it's squirm worthy! I said the same yesterday, he'll only drown in self-pity making the situation even worse by his insensitive outbursts.
Some examples of the blatant hypocrisy
He takes didi around in his bike every other day and is upset to see Imlie in Aryans car?
He has GD staying in his house even with Imlie's dissent and Imlie can't stay in Aryan's house?
Imlie never taunted him on his relationship with GD - she always gave him the benefit of doubt, he constantly taunts her with reference to Aryan
He can have Malini in his room serving him tea, food, borrowing books, but Imlie cannot have a conversation outside their office with Aryan??
Imlie can undergo great mental torture but Malini needs to be safe and in the comfort of his house. The way he rushed to her at KC and ruthlessly brought her home with no regard to Imlie, the man has no excuses for his behavior. If bacha love is going trump love for Imlie each time why should she even sign up for this? Will he put up with Imlie if she brings Aryan to T house?
The man is completely Malini's puppet...even uses her words to taunt Imlie. He deserves no sympathy. Having said all that GM blows me away with his portrayal of Adi - each time even with his limited screen space. +1 billion to all you wrote above. He deserves no sympathy. I'd be happy if imlie moves on. I see no chances of any realisation anytime soon and if he's gonna stoop lower, it is better that imlie moves on. But yeah we all know that won't happen.
