AryLie: For a boss and his feature writer, aren't they a little too comfy😆. Like it or not Mr. Fast Forward, she has begun to matter to you. Her discomfort affects you and you are more comfortable with her verbal banter than her silence. Aryan isn't someone who is comfortable sharing, but he knows a thing or two about pain and that is why he is able to reach out to Imlie. I also feel as if his entry in her life has allowed her to deflect some attention away from her heartbreak.

But he has such a rigid persona, that concern also comes across as "tough love". Do you know what I like the most about this pair? The fact that they have utilized the regular tropes which they show for a couple, but the execution is so controlled and in order that you yourself stand surprised, ki bhai kya ho gaya. She wore a saree for the first time in his presence, and he eased out of the staring contest or easing out the wet hair trope. Sab kuch hai lekin phir bhi kuch bhi nahi. Exactly this, I feel that these cliche characters lull us into a false sense of anticipation BUT the juxtaposition is so much better. Personally, he's so layered from the beginning and I'm able to enjoy his conflicting psyches as well as the way he emotes. It didn't take 50+ epis to build his character & this is probably why Aditya fans are reeling. For once, someone of substance is available to challenge his claim on Imlie, her progress and her future. From what I gathered is, pain will be the binding and bonding factor for Aryan and Imlie. Malini and Aditya are a bane to Imlie's existence whether they are married, stay friends, sleep around or anything else. Truly, Malini & Aditya have history, they're connected, and if she's truly pregnant then they will forever be intertwined. I wish I could be a bigger person, but if I was in Imlie's shoes, I would have definitely flipped a sh*t on Aditya the moment he erased the evidence. It was the penultimate moment of betrayals, lack of faith and pain for Imlie && despite being correct, he made her wrong to save his own butt. Adi will always give Malini some leeway and I think he's created a situation where Imlie will always be cautious of "the other shoe dropping." He created the potential of doubt Aryan and Imlie will prove to be a boon to each other's existence kyunki ek subtle depth hai, aur bahut saari clarity bhi in interactions.

I wonder how Aryan will be as a lover and husband (if). Will we get to see a softer side to him? What do you guys think? Honestly, I can't see Aryan totally reversing in personality back to his softer and playful nature AND I don't see him being a macho man ... AND I don't see him being the other trope of "hard shell, romantic center" 🤣 So maybe he'll be a stern and passionate lover? Is that a thing 😆 On a side note, given Sumbul's age, I think the depiction of any romantic equation for Imlie will be based on constructing a scene where the viewer's imagination can run wild.

The AdiLie scene, I found it to be cute, but the height of stupidity to expect Imlie to just know that they are throwing a party.🤪 Exactly this! && I just watched the epi as I was writing this SO all I'll say for now is that I just saw a hamster wheel of an episode turn. Really annoyed & the writing for AdiLie is so bad. Once again, in an attempt to try and flip the script, they just dragged that ship down even deeper. How can Adi believe what he read?! Where is his trust? Is THIS his version of wafaa and saath?! Ofc, it's all about Adi & Adi's feelings, and Adi's tears. Don't want to share too much in case many of us still need to see the epi

On a side note, Aryan was what Imlie needed in whatever capacity we didn't even realize required to be filled

Since I got positive feedback for the last I'm doing another 😂. I still have to reply to your post but I can't wait to watch this one. Opening thought: I need to check myself before I get emotionally invested in a fictional show 😂

Here goes:

- Aaand Aditya is annoying me. Seems like he hasn't had a hand in planning the party and is now mad at others for not inviting his wife. Buddy if you had only called and tried, Imlie would have run over to you.

- Watching Imlie and Aryan walk side-by-side makes my heart sing a bit apparently

- I am choosing to believe that the reason for Malini's "success" is not that everyone else is stupid, but that she is just that malicious.

- Aditya's father asking him kindly to basically not pull another Aditya 😂 😂 He knows his son I guess

- Imlie seeing Aditya and getting emotional and asking if this is a sign. She's a believer in the power of the universe, like me. Imlie asking Aryan for 2 minutes and "teesri baat udar" I mean, that's great.

- Her emotion while writing that letter. For her, just for her, I wanted it to work out so that she'd stop crying. But then she went and decided to give the letter to hotel staff instead of handing it over personally. Just that small choice derailed what could've been. Even if what could have been was only a temporary reconciliation before she realized that Aditya still doesn't love her the way she wants and needs

- Aryan is all business today. Imlie's "emotional mess" done and over with he's switched gears. It also makes me realize that love is still far away for these two. For one she's hopelessly in love with her still-husband and two, I feel like in order for something to happen Aryan needs to be the pursuer and that man just doesn't have love on his mind. For now atleast 😏

- Aryan lighting a fire for Imlie though. My hero. I was hard on him last episode, but in a way, he only says the things we want to say to Imlie. Reality is though it's been only 10 days since she separated and she has no intention of not being Aditya's wife. She can not fathom life beyond it. When she does start to fathom is when we will see if she wants to move on with another or not. And he's just as close to perfect as perfect can be.

- OMG sari burning! Symbolism? Again, Imlie's hopes are dashed. Sita Maiya showed her a sign by bringing Aditya to her today but then Sita Maiya also burned Imlie's favourite sari. I'm also a believer in the power of the universe Imlie, but sometimes we need to stop asking the universe to tell us what we want to hear and pay attention to what it's really telling us.

- Aryan! What in the world boy? 🤣🤣🤣 Upon finding out the sari is her wedding one he tells her she'll get sick and to put on his coat. How is your damp coat going to help her?? You are just beyond me sometimes. 😂😂 And for the first time in this episode he looks at her like he did most of the previous episode. 😌 Just hug her maybe. Please?

- But then Aditya finally reaches the room. Loooong walk to get to Mr. Lambi Gadi and your Mrs. I call these moments balaji moments. Even the dushoom dushoom and freeze frames. Been a while. Those Kausati memes weren't lying 🎉 I feel satisfied. Although in olden days that scene would've lasted for like 5 minutes.

- Aryan's advise to Imlie. I read that he would say this, but yeah - I still felt the warmth. He's a nice guy. And not the fake kind that finishes last. I believe in you hero 😉

- Aditya's visions of Imlie and Aryan. OMG OMG. I can't with this man. What? You saw them standing by a car, getting out of car, doing aarti in a crowded office, putting on a jacket? You didn't see Aryan crawling out of her bed though? How dare your 19 year old small town bride just walk like dat wid another man. I'm appalled. Just sayin' Drama Drama Drama. Once she decides to stop loving him her life will get better. This guy has the relationship expectations of a 14 year old

- Imlie running around in Aryan's oversized jacket. Why the jacket? I still wonder. It was totally unnecessary. To add dramatic flair? To drive Aditya even more crazy? Why did Aryan insist and why did Imlie wear it? Drama I think.

- Aditya wonders if Imlie gave him a card or a poem. Imlie hunny, get with Aryan. He's no poet, but you'll definitely feel his love through the warmth of his embrace and his confident steadfast ways.

- The trick Malini plays with the papers is not meant to give Imlie/Aditya hope I think, but rather to give hope to Aditya as a character. Divorcing someone over a coat is ridiculous. Even if Aditya travels further along the road with Malini blind to her games, eventually he will learn the truth and when he does he still needs to be himself enough to redeem himself.

- Aditya's speech is as ridiculous as he is. But he's not a villain. I do think though that for Imlie, Aditya's behaviour was reprehensible. She serves you with papers and you don't even ask why? You don't actually try to talk to her. You just yell at her like you always do and tell her "I'm leaving you first". Do you know where this girl comes from? How could you think even for one moment that she could have a boyfriend while married? I highly doubt she'll be capable even when single. But we'll see. Of all the ridiculous things in the world - Aditya's insecurities are the general theme of the episode.

- Promo. My heart breaks with this promo. I don't want to see Imlie like that. But I guess she needs to keep falling to learn. Today's episode was rough and it'll stay rough for a while.

Right? The saving grace is that fortunately ekta isn't in charge. If Imlie does move on it'll be done tastefully. And I honestly feel like too much has happened for her to stay with Aditya. Arylie's future remains to be seen. I'm trying to keep my expectations in check. As in have none 😂

Overall point ye hai that, Malini- Aditya ka equation aisa raha hai that they have known each other for the longest time, and so uss par vishwas karna normal hai, that he is justifying her actions and ignoring the voice of caution. But I don't understand his logic of not believing or heeding Imlie, why? Arre, she is your wife. Imlie has always been defending Aditya to everyone including Aryan, and here this man, asks questions whose answer should be one tight raaapta on his face😆

With Aryan and Imlie also it will be similar I feel, but here the equation will be based on a comfortable honesty they have displayed to each other. Aryan has been very clear with Imlie and so has she. Malini and Aditya live on different planes of delusion. At least AryLie are very grounded in their actions and interactions.

masti aside, your post was truly great to read. I find the we, as the viewers, while acknowledging this is all fiction...need to remind ourselves to be kind to these characters. Watching their journeys unfold is a trip because we cry for them, we yell at them, we root for them and then we empathize with them. For example, with Imlie, she's so young and yet we expect her to be larger than her shoes. You are so right, she's a 19 year old girl who really hasn't experienced the world. She's an absolute child. I clearly remember thinking I was so level-headed and balanced when I graduated from university BUT it's a delusion. Even now, I shake my head at how much "growing up" I continuously go through. On top of this organic process of aging and maturity ... she's had to come to terms with being coerced into a relationship, differentiating feeling obligated to a societal perspective of pati parmeshwar & actually being in love, gaining a family, and then having her heart shattered by 95% of them at continuum. && then they're are people who say that she should know better? That she was the sauten?! That she should've done something?? Please, the people who should have been educating and protecting her shoved her down a path of potential oppression. I wonder what child at 18/19 will be able to see this situation with absolute clarity? I feel none.

I felt the exact same about the scene where Aryan honks at her to "get a move on it." It's another way where he's guiding her to not overthink stuff and just make up her mind.

As for Aryan, generally, I am really liking him. Despite everything scripted to make him a stereotypical character or a cliche, he's a softened version. Almost like a retold story with a different twist. I like how they've built his layers because his vulnerability has been put in the limelight from the beginning...we won't have to wait 75 epis to get depth 😆

s/n: 100% with you regarding the T's. I really don't see how they set up Imlie for success with that type of planning

And Aryan honking post telling her "its your choice", I mean, you gotta love him. I like your perspective. I thought it was him being just the tiniest bit pushy which I don't mind actually. I thought it was a nice touch too. Could it be that Aryan once again asks Imlie to make a choice and she dithers, but on his honk, she hurries over. And I agree with you about Aryan. He's such a layered character and it's making for great tv. He's not "complex". He is just very well thought out.

Cautioning her

Bold - I'm not surprised at the precap at all. I was expecting this from Imlie given how she's made Aditya her whole world and now that she is being abandoned by Aditya, her whole world is shattering. The amount of pain she holds within has reached a point where she can't take it any more. It is choking her, crushing her and she wants out of this misery.

When the rain BTS of SuMaan came out, I'd actually thought they may have been shooting Imlie's suicide scene - her jumping in the river or something - but I'm glad we got a rain sequence instead. 😆

"Waqt kisi ke dehleez pe rukta nahi. Aaj kisi aur ka hai, kal kisi aur ka hoga"

These lines seem to apply here. I think it's applicable to all the 4 leads (yes, leads IMO) around whom the story is pretty much revolving. It applies to both the men and the ladies. But unfortunately, our Patrakaar mahoday is so intelligent, that he has given both those liberties to Malini devi, instead of Imlie. Imlie ke case me woh wohi sochta hai jo usko sochna hai.

To be honest, a couple can only be separated by 2 things - lack of communication and lack of faith. No other person can do anything else when you have the former game going strong. I don't want to blame Malini here. I don't want to because Aditya has allowed this to happen to himself and Imlie. Resisting Imlie's changed opinion about Malini and accepting Imlie's supposed betrayal is what has brought this marriage to shambles. I am not saying that Imlie hasn't made her fair share of mistakes. Her immaturity and foolhardiness have caused many a problem in this marriage. But, she hasn't allowed any other person to interfere in her equation with Aditya, not even Satyakaam, and has neither let that alter her opinion of him. She has always respected Aditya. If she has an expectation from her husband to listen to her and trust her instincts and what she can perceive, it isn't an unfair expectation, given that she has put up with many of his ridiculous actions.

What surprised me was that Aditya chose not to confront and question Imlie, instead just acted on his weakness and signed the papers. Arre, what happened to him suddenly. Hamesha to question leke aa jata hai with Imlie, jo nahi dekha hote huye, woh question kiya, and jo dekha woh question nahi kar sakta tha? Imlie saw far worse between Aditya and Malini one fine day, uske khaatir ek baar question hi kar leta. Uska fav pastime jo hai.

Coming back to my first statement of this post. Today, it was Malini's time. She played the 3 of them really well. Matlab itni gajab hai ki hotel ki current udwa di madam ne🤪. But you never know when it changes and falls in the lap of Imlie. This leads me to Aryan. Aryan is Sita Maiyya's answer to Imlie's change of time. as she treads down a new path with him, whatever the equation turns into (although it seems we all can see what it will turn into, too many signs to miss), but it does signal the end of Aditya Kumar Tripathi's time with Imlie. Now he has to walk down a path of his choosing and I am not sure, where it will lead him to. That's it for now. Do share your thoughts ladies.
