The problem is Adi and Imlie’s story is evolved in such a way that choti moti misunderstandings will not keep them away.For separation, they needed a solid conflict which is Malini. But the conflict also given in a very contrived way.

The easiest way to not pisoo b/w the two sisters is to book an uber for M. It is safer than letting the 19yo wife roam around on sadak right? aap uber mein jayiye hum track karenge is nicer than iss baar hum tumhare peeche nahi aayenge, right? This is not to compare but for the explanation that he doesn't want to give - something Imlie never asked for
