Imlie - Pran jaaye par vachan na jaaye

I was not too excited after seeing the precap last week. As expected some hits and plenty of misses today.

For those interested in watching, can legit FF 50% of the epi which I did as it was on the new family and their dinner table scenes/dynamics that I had 0 interest in. Maybe I will watch later but not now.

The takkar at the hospital was along expected lines and the guy is a do gooder.. pays the bills for some random guy who is pleading with the hospital walon to admit his amma. He has a heart of gold but is khadoos, softie but hard outer shell... all the cliches possible that has been done and dusted a zillion times in ITV. He calls Imlie a chor and grabs her arm. she gives him the Raghukul Reet Ki - sada chali aayi.pran jaaye par vachan na jaaye, she will break his leg and put a permanent brake to his movement.. lol.. so much of tashan and for what ???

Only for Adi to have reached the hospital running and is so happy to spot her.. and runs to her..and grabs her arm...a smile that turns to tears. One of relief that she is ok and not hurt as he heard her voice in the mandir, followed her to the hospital. Imlie says it is better to die as she is capable of hurting an unborn child, shooting, etc.. vishwaas is broken totally. Adi hands over the letter to Imlie who rips the internship offer letter from him, saying she will not beg or ask for her rights, her pyaar, for vishwaas. she then walks away.. from Adi again.

So we had both the guys grab her arm and reactions very diff. There was lot of buzz in birdie.. dunno again why ASR is grabbing her arm.. no need for this at all. (face palm...)

I FF'ed all the bro-sis hosp scenes and also the house ka scenes. Arpita tells her bro that he has go to city college, find her and apologize. so akkad bakka nakchada.. goes to the college and tells the princi he wants to meet the girl who is gawar.., who does not speak properly, does not dress appropriately.. wonder what is wrong with my eyes as I can see that Imlie is suitably dressed in a salwar..when did that become unsuitable.

Imlie goes to the hostel and finds her room locked by the warden as punishment for spicing her food..from last week. Has a bulbabwa moment that she overdid it with Adi by tearing up the offer letter. WArden is asleep and snoring, Imlie sees an ant climb..and try again after falling..gets inspired by the ant and resolves to attain her goals by trying again.

We got a scene of the T house where Apu is packing lunch for Adi, M and includes one for Imlie too.. she magnanimously offers to give the dabba to some poor.. grabs it from Adi who offers to take it..saying how he could eat 2 lunches..(face palm...)

The next was the pits.. taking her on his bike to drop her at the college and M sees Imlie coming, fakes a fall and grabs Adi.. smiling... at Imlie, saying that I won. She calls her out deliberately and puts on a fake act.. dont mistake, he just dropped me at the college.

Adi stops Imlie and says she misunderstood M again. he will not justify his action and tells yet again that if Imlie had focused on them instead of on M, they would have been living their life, a fresh start... but they are not due to her pigheadedness... that was unsaid.. (face palm...)

I will share my thoughts as I replay Adilie ka convo.. we got some ss of them today and Dd ka thankfully was reduced..

Precap - Imlie is doing payback... by smearing gobar all over nakkadbakka... slo mo bhai ki lambi gaadi.

Hey ladies lovely written updates and so much can be said. Will say this that today the episode left a bitter sweet feeling, at one side I was rooting for imlie as she was rediscovering the voice of her feet and for once listened to her heart by learning to find her inner peace which is being threatened by others around her.

See I understand she is a woman whom has been hurt by the man she loves. Yet today the scenes at the hospital as poetic as is was it also left a bitter taste as I watched the paper be shred. It was like watching the flame of the 🪔 burn out in Aditya eyes and with it his soul left him once more. I get that she walked away because she was done finding her inner peace and being the voice of reason to the excuses of her faults but while she tried to overlook his. Yet today it was like she was saying that this space and this silence was his only part in her story it’s like she closed his chapter and clipped away his wings that showed her how to fly when all others around her had caged her in.

Today my heart went out to Aditya and his inner battle there we saw a man whom is crazy in love chasing the woman loves to have a glimpse of her just to make sure she is safe. Keep a piece of her close for him as all else falls apart. The concern in both was well executed but I also felt as Imlie adored his concern her annoyance at asr what ever his first name is was as the burnt that Aditya had to bare the heat for.

Today did we not only see Aditya sacrifice we saw him surrender a part of himself only to her. He let her in without her realising that by sharing her dreams and feelings he in a roundabout way open up his dormant heart to her love. The piece of paper was his way of showing his passion in there relationship and the relationship he holds for we all know how much his career means to him and how he would love to be her mentor and guide. This knowledge was his courage and power to be patient with her and battle with his inner peace and k somehow found that in her own anger she failed to see that very fact. I agree that this was a a lovely scene but also one that made me

See although we see her upset at the hostel for a few seconds I found the metaphor of the ant had two meanings one of course she showed that no matter how many times you fall pick yourself up and climb until you reach your peak. The other I would say which I felt was more related to the first scene was that the one whom you can walk away from on speed are the once’s that never intended to stay. It’s like we see that in each meet of imlie and asr although there roads shall cross he will never be part of her long term journey whereas Aditya will for he alway stays back watching and waiting. Showing her that he will offer her his strength no matter where they are today. It’s a though demon to juggle but I love how he is trying while imlie is battle to find that trust in heart for him. As the say slow and steady wins the race and we known although Aditya is slow today he will connect the dots soon. I do believe there is enough sun for the both of them for the biggest thing that makes love like these so sacred is the concern shown. It not only showed his attention to her but also that he has all the time for her in the world. It was somewhat a befitting reply to Maline whom is chasing it but getting no repose from him.

Finally the scene at the college where Maline believe she has won once again to create a bigger rift was quite I just cannot with herself ignorance

I know a few of you may disagree which is okay but I felt Aditya outburst about her heart having blanked for him was quite apt after the meet from the hospital. You have to remember she not only took away her right from him but also took away the ray of hope he held. The internship was his torch of hope his way to maybe settling things between them. I do agree she let her decision of Maline cloud her judgement and the support he was trying to offer. She didn’t think about herself or him in that moment. I know satyakaam told her to speak the language of the people but at the same time I also remember him asking her to make the right choice. Today she reminded me so much of her dadda and the anger that comes from it. Kind of made me realise that her hurt also stems for all the years of ignorance and neglect. It is like after watching this she needs the road of redemption more then Aditya for she will be given the choice and the choices she makes will reflect what her heart has always known. If handled well it will be as poetic as Aditya journey. At the start I have to admit I believed Aditya had a lot to make up for but after this I believe both have some work to do Imlie maybe a little bit more.

Lastly just because his mind is angry doesn’t mean his love for her has decreased because there mistakes still show that the heart cares. We know both do and his little quip about it to her also shows is of his concern for her and them. One can see each time he tells her focus on them he is asking for her to believe in him and in a way remind her that he is also scared that she had left him behind. I feel he was allowed that moment for it couldn’t have been easy for him to see the mangalsutra burn. And we can see that even today with his words he is giveng her the power to break his heart as he said he will only love her till his last breath. I must admit loved her silence when Maline spoke showed her once again that she was in control go Imlie

If I may just say this I hated the fact that when asr went to ask for imlie she was once again being judged for the way she looks, speaks and dress since when has that defined a person social standing. I absolutely cannoli tolerate the crap that was shown for I thought we have finally moved away from that when we had imlie being accepted for whom she was on both her vocational and social standing. Seriously how many times are we going to see her being undressed for living her true self. It’s like we cannot call emotional abuse and rape a crime but giving some a undressing for being there true self is okay. That left a bitter

Glad we are going to the internship track and look forward to seeing the possessive side of Aditya coming out soon it will be and adorable treat to watch as Maline gets the chop

Okay that’s my little rant over with hopeful that has some logic for today the director made me rallies that dogs do fly and the episode was proof of it

If I may predict this I feel the tiffin box may be fed to the dogs on the way home in today’s episode for I feel Aditya or Imlie may say something to rattle her cage once more. But I am ready for the chop too

Thanks Nim for a thread. Albeit I ain’t watching. I am not understanding this story right now or the contrivances. Have not watched for more than a week, I guess alag raah for me as well, until my receptivity finds the way to meet their maneuvering again. Hope at some point they do come back to the core of the story and not tashan wale spin offs, for old time sakes.

But here today only for the darling Sumbul! I did not find any thread specific to her birthday hence posting in this safe abode.

The girl is a rockstar and a big shout out to her on her birthday! Happy Birthday to Sumbul! May she always see success. From getting the dhakkad expressions on peeth mein koni to the shy expressions everytime she gets emotion sickness- the girl gave us a full range of emotions to perfection! More power to her always! 🥳

Adi caught up with Imlie outside the hospital where he was catching his breath after running to reach there.

He is genuinely happy to see fine but then Imlie gives him sad looks and bashaan on how he broke her vishwaas.. how he questioner her.

I mean we have always got Imlie doing M ka jaap, then she must settle first and be happy only then can we reveal to the family, then T family ka acceptance before I move in with you, vishwaas ka tootna between Adilie.. always something or the other between them all the time. We now have Adi doing M ka jaap or trust in her blindly, sad looks to Imlie as she broke their rishta and walked away.. contrived much. Since the 1st suicide attempt the tale has gone on a downward spiral and became a platform for most versatile actress ki histrionics.

Bring in fresh storyline with new actors but close out the current plots.. so many that are left hanging that will never see the light of day, so many good opportunities gone to waste. Sadly we never got the garam tawa poem ka closure.

I still need some time to adapt to the new family and I may warm up..or not. 😆 Alag Raah for both Adilie or for Imlie to make strides in achieving her dreams.. we have to sit through to find out or read WU or watch clips.

I think it is safe to assume that the LONG Diwali day is finally over as Apu packed lunch for Adi and rest. No one protested when M was saying she will give the dabba to some needy.. no push back at all and the Ts are still dumbed down.. Adi was like zero faraks to give and whatever to M when she asked for a drop off to the college. Ah I do miss the old days.. even watching the earlier epi feels somehow tainted with all that has happened. I cannot watch them with the same fervor.

What is with the warden locking Imlie ka room ? Guess the PH wants to minimize the sets so we will now switch between RH and TH, hopefully CH will be very reduced. Imlie may very well move in with the Rs by next week. Till the Ts come back from their vacation, it will all be setting up of the new fam jam. chalo..FF zindabad.. with makers ke peet mein koni. 😆

I feel very soon , Aditya will have a real wake up call

Just watched two scenes. Whatever sympathy Adi gained in first scene, he lost double of it in second scene.

In first scene, I also felt that Imlie overdid with tearing the appointment letter but in second scene if felt that, even this over doing is not enough. Right now, Adi is showing sheer arrogance as far as Malini's scenario is concerned. I find it hard to believe that he wont think even for once "what if Imlie is right". I agree he knows Malini for 7 years, but he is behaving as if he doesn't know Imlie at all or he knows her to be a person who is habitually wrong about people and situations.

Now, after Atif's interview I don't see PF till 450 or 500. They might even bring a child in picture. Problem is that tracks they should have dragged , they hurried. Negative tracks they want to drag to no end. Still I am invested in story for now so will stay connected through WU or FF.
