Why are they showing him doing token apologies to Imlie? If it is really out of a sense of deep helpless remorse, that is also no longer coming through - whether it's the poor writing or GM is also tired of mouthing apologies he himself doesn't look convinced of - well it's starting to show up on screen as insincere from Adi's side. What is Adi apologizing for? For betraying Imlie? Ok uske aage kya? Does he really think the matter ended at him deleting the video? Where is his apology for resigning Imlie to this life of watching another woman raise his kid in the same house where Imlie still sleeps on the floor in a kona? Where is the sense of remorse that "galti kisi ki bhi ho", zindagi toh Imlie ki hi barbaad ho rahi hai, no? Instead he feels all is well simply cuz Imlie is trying to keep her studies going on her own jaise bhi? 😕

They are indeed showing Adi acting like all three of them can keep living like this indefinitely. He can keep considering Imlie his wife, Malini can keep considering herself "legal wife" who is now his bacche ki Maa also and Imlie can also spend the rest of her life living in that kona of the house and attending college. All sorted😕

Basically the story is stuck at the same point since Adi-Imlie marriage truth reveal.

Everything is Rapist Didi ka darbaar & phir beech beech main Adi-Imlie NDE dete hai to pick up the slack & maintain audience interest. But due to this they have made the NDEs also useless in gaining audience interest. With each passing NDE, we as viewers are finding it hard to keep any interest because after the NDE is wrapped nothing changes in the story.

We all were expecting at the least some kind of pardafash for AC. Rapist Didi ke liye toh we all have lost hope. But again NDE khatam back to sautan drama without even any emotional payoff for the NDE. It has become all in a day's work for Adi-Imlie now.

The longer they drag this sautan drama, the more audience they are going to lose because Rapist Didi just doesn't have enough personality or any redeeming factor to interest the audience. It has been proven countless times that she is evil. There was even video proof of her raping Adi which Adi casually dismissed & deleted without taking Imlie into confidence. Matlab Rapist Didi aur AC ko punish nahi karna, iske liye Adi ke character ko hi halaal kar diya hai makers ne. He has been reduced to a dumb loser who doesn't think about anything & has no sense of perception, logic or emotional feelings.

I don't think makers ko koi farak padnewala hai with decreasing TRP as well. Inke designated timeline tak yeh log ghatiya se bhi jyada ghatiya sautan drama jaha har baar vamp ki hi jeet ho rahi hai kheechte rahenge. Well audience's patience is reaching a point of no return for Adi's character. If he continues to be such a brainless loser then he will get same response that Rapist Didi gets...it is only because GM is a very good actor that audience is still interested in Adi's character. Very soon this will also not matter.

Malini’s goal seems to be to stop Adi from going to pick up Imlie at college. Doesn’t seem like she actually cares about the debate yet 🤷‍♀️….unless that changes later.

@bold: Yes, he is not in the frame of mind to understand right now. Yeh apne time se hi samjhega jab samajhna hoga. Aise hote hain kuch log jinko jitna marzi samjha lo, they will only understand when they want to.....usse pehle nahin budge karega chattaan.

As I was saying some days back, it will likely come down to a moment when he will have to make a clear choice about who to trust - tab ho jaayegi sudden epiphany about what was so obvious all along and jo isko Imlie saamne se directly bolti rahi but he didn't listen/understand.

Some truths are too horrifying to process and it's a self-defense mechanism to try and stick to the portions you feel your mind can handle.....Adi seems to be going that route vis a vis this truth....he can still handle the "nanhi jaan" truth more than the truth of M having drugged, then raped him and the baby being a result of that rape.

If this is makers ka attempt at role reversal ki pehle Imlie always wanted to keep pulling her hand back when Adi was fighting for their relationship/wanting to reveal the truth of their marriage and now Adi is pulling back from showing that trust in Imlie or doing anything to really get her her haq, even then it's a poorly done parallel.....Imlie's phase of being hesitant to reveal the truth/supporting Adi in revealing the truth didn't involve such a direct lack of vishwaas.....us phase mein phir bhi vishwaas tha even if she disagreed with his stance of telling the truth to everyone cuz she felt they'll be hurt. Jabki whatever Adi is doing right now is making him look like he doesn't even care anymore if he's lost that vishwaas, bas kisi tarhaan chalaate raho kaise bhi regardless😕. And the stakes are so much worse now with this rape baby angle....so yeah, if the makers think this is some role reversal, that's not flying either.

I think if people are expecting Adi-Imlie to become some grand romantic couple doing daily romantic scenes the moment ST turns 18, they might be in for a disappointment on that front also😆......this isn't the show where they need to do detailed scenes to prove how much of a "proper married couple" they are. They are evolving the relationship at its own pace......and their focus seems to be mainly on how much drama they can show in Adi-Imlie's lives rather than sappy romance😆.
