My view might be unpopular so please no chappals. But I really like Adi's layered reaction if he indeed gets manipulated by Malini and deletes the video.

First of all, his stand of always standing with the truth remains if Malini somehow makes him believe that Anu is behind all this. But ,yes, this stand is in total contradiction with his stand on Satyakaam. He wanted Satyakam to be jailed irrespective of who instigated him but here he protected DD because she was instigated, may be because of pregnancy.

Secondly, if our trust is broken so badly, more than that person we start questioning ourselves, our intelligence so we immediately start looking for justification for their action, not to protect them but to protect our judgement. It is very hard to believe that we could be so wrong in trusting someone. So Adi looking for justification for Malini's action and him falling for that trap again is very believable and real for me. Yes, in this process he betrayed Imlie and that is painful but I can understand where Adi is coming from.

I am only speaking from my own experience . No intention to offend anyone or discredit others' opinion.

I just want to highlight why I personally can’t justify Adi deleting the video behind everyone’s back for any reason.

It’s hypocritical to the extreme, and that’s not one of his core traits. Imlie faced something similar recently where she was put on the spot when SK shot Adi. At that point, it was very easy for Adi to tell Imlie that she should be unbiased because in the eyes of the law, SK is guilty. Why? SK is as dear to her as Adi is. She ultimately chose to let SK escape conditionally, but not because she wanted to justify his actions. She knew SK was wrong and stood to be convicted, accepted it as such before the entire family, but she also wanted to turn Malini in. Whether her letting SK escape was right or not is debatable but besides the point right now because in no way did she step back from making a hard choice. She knew she would face Adi’s wrath, she did what she did anyway.

Let’s come to Adi now. He’s the victim in this situation again, but now the tables have turned. He’s split between Imlie and Malini, and let’s say for argument’s sake, he is as fond of Imlie as he is of Malini. He’s in the spot just like Imlie, but what does he choose to do? He allows himself to be swayed into believing AC is the main perpetrator, all because she’s presented as a convenient scapegoat at the right place, at the right time — by the ones whom he knows have a tendency to lie by this point. 👎🏼

He’s hurt, sure, he has all the right in the world to be. But for someone who supposedly has very strong principles, hails truth above all else and advocates for justice to just sneakily delete evidence of Malini’s wrongdoing, drowning Imlie’s hard work and letting the case she was fighting so hard for, for him, be dismissed openly in court? I cannot agree with this at all.

He wanted to let Malini go scot-free? Fine. He could have simply and easily taken the case back as the victim. Instead he chose to go this roundabout way that shattered Imlie’s blind faith in him when she handed him the chip in the worst possible way. She may forgive him, as will all of us when things get better I’m sure, but bluntly speaking, he didn’t have the right to get rid of what Imlie had found without at least talking to her. 👎🏼 For me, this is not justifiable at all.
