Personally I have no issues even if it really happened and pregnancy is real because none of it is Adi's fault even one percent in my opinion. Trusting someone is not your fault .. Person who breaks your trust, who takes advantage of your faith is at fault. Only problem I will have is if they show Adi and Imlie deciding to break their relation because of this (which is highly likely to come from Imlie)

Its not like Adi started trusting Malini on day 1 of their meeting, he had a history with her. He questioned her (do you still love me, why you forced Imlie to wear westren dress, why are you not believing your own little sister, why you halted divorce proceedings) but all her answers were in synch with her character. So blaming Adi for trusting Malini is not right.

PS: This is strictly my opinion. No intention to offend anyone or discredit their opinion.

You have said it well today Aditya has been shown for the victim he was and the marital abuse he has faced. The issue is not easy to come to terms with and I have said so in earlier post as well that he has a long journey to walk towards accepting he is a victim today he still was in denial for he lost not only a friend but failed to honour his trust in imlie he was broken.

The fact of the he is a victim cannot be overlooked and with the twist of the pregnancy will make him even feel more remorseful of his guilt and hurt he may have caused imlie. it’s sad to see that people don’t want to see the victim in him but just worry about the act itself when we known he has been wronged.

one thing that was shown well today was with the reveal was that Aditya learnt that he has to be carefu with what he shares just because he shared his truth with Maline and she said she accept didn’t mean she was insecure, selfish or even willing to betray him for her own self.

in this whole plot he was a victim to Maline manipulation and and even with the drugs he never consented to being with her because even the video showed him a make sure if she was imlie meaning his soul felt it was not her but he couldn’t know because of drugs in system. He never consented to being with her. He is and has always been honest to whom he is. He owned his mistakes opened up the truth and today is even wiling to be punished for something he has not done.

Thats true - my theories are to keep a sinking ship alive with some hope. But it's highly likely I'm being delusional. It's so hard to accept that a ML you liked and admired can be so guilible and more than that so unfair to the girl who gave her all for him because he begged her to. He would have only given lip service to Imlie - yet trusted and prioritized M in all aspects of his life. His character is very much say something and do something type - extremely weak, stupid and brutal. Even if Malini told him about the baby and that Anu forced her to do all she did, deleting footage to save her from sure conviction - this is too much to take. Would Dev have told him not to make the mistake he did with the baby?

Still part of me cannot believe he will do this!

Adi is selfish in many ways. He always what will happen to him if Imlie leaves. He doesn’t even think once what will happen to Imlie’s life if she leaves. He very well knows there won’t be any other man in her life. As you said he is just doing lip service. He is not able to change anything in Imlie’s plight. It is very sad the kind of bhajan he does with Imlie Hamari patni hai, but sadly they didn’t live as real husband and wife even for single day
