Maybe if Malini had been a fly on the wall at some of these events, she might realise just how close Adilie are. I'll bet she has no memories at all of herself with Adi like these. Her relationship with him was totally superficial, whereas Adilie's relationship is very, very deep. Pity he is not remembering these instead of supporting Malini just now.
