I know it is not related to Malini! But this man does not want to deal with anything related to that night! He just don't want to deal with the situation and its sequences 🙃 like any other victim who just want to burry their head in sand rather than punish the real culprit! He is GUILT TRIPPED by M, that is!

That makes sense. He doesn't want to deal with that night at all. Like he used to get all jittery at the very mention of Pagdandiya after forced wedding.. He just wanted to forget about the whole trip to Pagdandiya.. similarly he wants to completely forget about that night. He just wants to make peace with Imlie in whatever manner and move ahead..
