Can I ask.. what were the point for these effigies? To burn at the stake ? 🤔

Okay today's episode was too much of a filler to warrant a new thread, so continuing here only. Salient points include:

- Adi ne bhari adalat main Imlie jaap shuru kar di, prompting everyone there to just roll their eyes. He said that even if he is married to Malini in paper, Imlie is his wife and he loves only her. Desai ne bahut koshish ki to paint Adi as a cheat and bigamist and that he cannot be a credible witness because he is confused - basically echoing the words of the alternate stan, but end main KC ne baazi maar li by telling Adi that Malini has stopped the divorce proceedings. That stuns even the T family. Ab woh khushi main shock hue ya sachi main shock hue, woh toh next week hi pata chalega. Adi as usual does not remember what happened, but he makes it a point to mention that the last thing he remembers is looking for Imlie, so something tells me that this point will also play a role in the truth reveal.

- Desai tries to get the case dismissed, but KC is able to get time till the next hearing to find prrofs rather than allow the judge to dismiss the case - which is the reason that KC had said in his earlier BTS that AC had won the first round.

- Adi tries to question Malini about her stopping the divorce proceedings, but Malini gives him the lamest excuse about trying to figure out her feelings and her health not being good - apparently the female is till recovering🤣. Oh well, Adi buys the excuse hook line and sinker and instead apologizes to her, prompting me to want to clobber him for that.🤬. Imlie tries to make Malini understand that Adi is suffering, not her, which prompts Adi to lash out at her instead (as usual) and walk out in frustration.

- Malini is shit scared that this case will cause her to lose Adi - her brain sems to be working. But then AC lands up putting stops to that and instead give her the perfect idea to trap Adi - using his guilt against him. AC specifies that Adi will never be able to deny his responsibilities, so she should make herself Adi's zimmedari to keep him with her - giving is the indication and idea of where the preggers drama is coming from and how it will mostly play out.

- Malini and Imlie squabble, with Malini assuming that Imlie is all alone and that Adi is ignoring her because of the case🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ - lagta hai Malini also is becoming Ghajini in the fact that just minutes ago Adi was doing Imlie jaap in bhari adaalat😆. Anyway, she has a point when she says that Imlie has no proof, which is confirmed even by KC who tells Imlie that the saree is out if question because AC already has spun a lie around it, making it invalid as a stand alone proof. NN calls all of them bailbuddhis who are just thinking in one direction, rather than going out of the box and looking at the problem from AC and Malini's POV to understand what they would do. That seems to have prompted Imlie to impersonate Malini and intoxicate AC to get the truth out of her, with the whole family listening in - exactly like what we predicted. She gets interrupted by Malini, but now it is left to be seen just how much AC has uglofied to see how this plays out next week.

Boring episode. BSBB disappointed with his lukewarm reaction to didi's postponing of the divorce.

The dialogue that stood out a little bit for me today was Adi's testimony that he and Imlie had a fight and he was trying to find her.

I felt it had some significance - on that day he had gone to his bedroom after Imlie was proved wrong by Didi and he was upset about that. So in his mind he had gone to apologize or find Imlie and maybe possibly give her the camera? Maybe what he did was apologize repeatedly to didi. He also said earlier he only wanted to get close to Imlie.

It seemed a misfit in the rest of his lines I thought. Maybe it was just his confusion abt the entire day.

Also if Adi gave camera to Malini thunking she was Imlie - could camera have caught a glimpse of MAlini in Imlie's saree? Nothing else is reqd - but a snapshot to prove MAlini's intentional act.

Ma’am.. nothing is a misfit.. it will become clear in the next few episodes.. these writers throw in these things which we rant about but then I notice they address is subtly later

@bold - Adi's dialogue was that he was looking for Imlie - I presume to give her the camera, as they had just had a fight about Imlie accusing Malini about the poisoning of the prasad without any proof. So I feel that he may have kept the camera out before Malini came and it may have accidentally turned on, thus recording part of that night, rather than the full incident. This will show that Malini gave him the juice and that she dressed as Imlie, waiting for him in his room and must have convinced Adi that she was Imlie - this is the only scenario which makes sense on why the camera is the evidence that Imlie talks about in the promo. That may also be the reason why Adi would believe the pregnancy claim by Malini, as seeing the video he may be even more convinced that they did it.

But I feel that while Imlie will be shocked, I feel she will still try to prove Malini's guilt and that she is lying even about the baby - that is only when her poora kachcha chitta will come out in the open and she can finally be brought to justice.
