i also really really liked mithi and Imlie ka scene and mithi again telling imlie ke how come she is ok with malini staying at her place without her ke yeh toh bilkul hi jaayaz nahi hai and theek nahi hai just like she is misfit here woh udhar misfit hai and telling her to go to her home asap and adi ke paas. and apne ghar.. It was apt

the little bit in kitcen of adi imlie was adorable with him getting so happy seeing her and telling her aaram se he missed her.. which again is the sheer contrast he could never naturally tell didi any such thing and imlie ke liye iska mann bhara rehta hai and it is just next level of adroable and sweet ke he missed her so much ke he was like get to the room we need to spend jitna bhi time i have before office caz i can't be apart a single min awww..

but with didi dikhaooing her shakal to imlie itna saaf saaf not hiding anymore behind a mask.. Waise I feel the shift in Adi is deffo there....he's not even being the gehri dost level of deferential with Malini anymore.....there is a notable difference from that mode. He's become even more detached with her than his usual levels😆

Yes, he's backed down from the level of disgust he was showing over her antics at the party but he's also not gone back to gehri dost mode where he used to keep hyping everything Malini said or did.....now even when he calls her a "good cook", you can see the politeness has become even more surface level....he is just not happy to be in her presence at all😆. Yes, he still isn't pushing her away or actively avoiding her, but this is also not the usual guilt tripping awkwardness wala mode he had before with her.....this is kuch alag shade he's showing now.....very robotic like he would rather avoid her company but jab khud hi iske saamne aa jaati hai, he still keeps the politeness going to avoid any further tamashas😆.

I must put a disclaimer first - Didi is fully delusional and unlike anyone I have ever met before ( which is good since she is fictional) and well she is overall bonkers but I feel sorry for her at times. You loved someone for 7 years and then he said that he mistook his feelings of friendship for love. Like I said it’s random but it’s just the one off moments of sadness for her but this won’t last when she starts her scheming again. Sigh

I think you are watching this story with the wrong expectation.

It was never going to be about a “mature woman” overcoming a tough situation and women supporting each other for the sake of it. Characters react based on their core nature, not on the basis of generic social bhaashanbaazi expectations 🙄.

Malini was an insecure, weak woman from day one. It just took a while for the story to reveal the full scope of her immaturity and pettiness. The biggest warning sign was that she stayed for 7 years with a man who clearly never prioritized her and was more focused on his work. Such a woman is never going to get a reality check easily or behave maturely when things don’t go her way.

So what is being shown now is the mask being ripped off to show how different characters react to tough situations. Simply waving this 7 year flag doesn’t make Malini’s suffering greater. Imlie has faced more horrifying situations, more horrifying humiliation than anything Malini has….and she’s still shown grace and dignity through it all cuz that is her nature.

This story is about Imlie’s journey, not that of Malini 🙄….it’s about the contrast between light (Imlie) and darkness (Malini). At every stage of tough choice, Imlie has spread light while Malini has chosen darkness.

So why this forced expectation of some “women supporting each other” storyline for the sake of it? 🙄….I’m not interested in token support storylines when the woman in question is so pathetic. Humanity matters BEFORE these token gender related stances in my books.

Aaj Didi ne Moti Rotis kutton ko khilaa di aur video Maa ko bheja😕...... aur apne asli rang Imlie ko dikhaa diye kaafi hadh tak and Mithi ke saamne toh full confession kar diya of her pathetic true intentions.

Mithi is heartbroken on learning Malini's true face and promptly takes off for PD khud se hi😆.....I guess wahaan jaakar phone karegi Imlie ko and shaayad Didi ki asliyat bataa degi.....

Baaki Imlie is trying to talk to Adi about Malini's true intent but he is back to head buried in sand mode😆.....nahin deal karna chahta Malini ke tamaasho se so he wants everyone else to downplay anything she does and zone her out.

Adi-Imlie ke scene ko dekhne ke do tareeke hain.....a) You can feel bad that he called Imlie immature for fixating on the fact ki Malini fed the Moti Rotis to the dogs😆.....or b) You can note that Malini ka every action is insignificant to him cuz he is content in the fact that Imlie is with him toh sab sahi hai😆....he wants to unsee the obvious even when Imlie was pointing out valid things from the party again.....lol

Malini is pakaaoing khayaali pulaav over hearing one stray line from Adi so she thinks that Adi considers Imlie immature and not right for him😆......baaki ka isne kuch nahin suna ki Adi said he's always going to be with Imlie😆

It's all going to circle back to the same stuff I feel.....these little disagreements are not going to be enough to create an MU between Adilie despite Malini ke khayaali pulaav.....lol toh aage toh NDE hi lag raha hai.....let's see.
