I don't get everything you are saying but it is good to know others are frustrated by this. However the censorship has been going on from long before Imlie started. It was only by chance I saw an episode of Nazar online and then realises the UK version had been cut as the UK one didn't show someone being stabbed and blood flowing. After that I checked and saw it was going on quite a lot, but the cuts in Imlie are extreme and absurd. I didn't even know they were showing different versions at other times and places, I will have to seek them out though they don't sound very satisfactory.
One very annoying thing about the censorship, apart from ruining the continuity of the story, is that those of us not fluent in Hindi depend on those subtitles, so that if a part is cut in which there is speech, we lose that translation too, so even if like myself you understand simple Hindi, you can miss an important part of the dialogue when a scene is cut, especially when an actor might have or be using a different accent which makes the Hindi harder to understand. I fail to understand this excessive censorship which is just getting worse.
So in other words my memories of Dev in the Jungle having a warning message but showing it might be accurate but it was one of them I could have missed on the channel and watched on the alternative Sky downloads source instead that day so wasn't accurate for the TV version?
If Sky Go has all your on demand sections as well as the live channels I'm not sure why you don't receive the Sky alternative 4 days late source on it I get on a box unless it doesn't though.
But Apaki Nazron De Sunja isn't on it and that is needed when that show started having punch ups and crime scenes and Gunn falling off a cliff which she didn't as it wasn't shown we just seen yak yak yak which luckily told us what happened anyway.
That one is mainly Black and Whiting the picture edits but it's still annoying in the early days of that they cut out the punch ups with the goons in the fake sweets factory but now they are randomly showing some punch ups it's all black and white.
Publicly shame their email address so other disgruntled fans can hassle ten and start a partition on here I say.
They will have to listen then even though I keep bugging them with tweets anyway about it spamming to Star UK, Star Plus, Hotstar UK and everyone going nowhere with my existing spam even bugging them to put the catch up version on same day, same hour, same minute as on TV not 4 days later as it's a different download exclusive version of the show that omits the recaps at the end but shows it ad free and uncensored and better flowing as a result and wanting my full new episodes library put on it not only the 8 shows to make it a real alternative.
My mail to Hello Hotstar
Improvements Needed On Sky Hotstar As Well As Sky TV Channels
This is watershed times so why are you airing the U versions made for morning and afternoon repeats of violence shows at a night time when us adults are the only people watching and the one we want to watch at that time of night is the original artform with the warning disclaimer down the bottom of the scene.
If our Hotstar UK service on Sky Plus HD and Q subscription charges had every new show from both channels air on it and was same minute, same hour, same day not 4 days late like most Sky Catchup provides these days I would prefer to use Sky Hotstar over Hotstar and Star.
You need to do a marathon of the 4 episodes of each show to catch up to same day I feel then do same time uploads as the TV or maybe even same time as Hotstar Website version.
I think Sky Hotstar definitely needs some improvement as it's the only option to watch the uncensored Version we want to watch not this censored rubbish for the prudish daytime version which you insist on playing post watchershed as well which ruins the artform both on a big screen TV not 22" monitor and on your Sky Entertainment Subscription.
I also think you should get a proper dual language person in to do accuracy based subtitles as the English parts the language I know on the subtitle is inaccurate to what is coming out.
I do think you should bump the ratings from U suitable for all to it's proper Hotstar ratings and show the proper shows first run 9pm-5am on the channel as well though and show the U version morning and afternoon only.
EastEnders has less to no censorship on fights and blood and that is on 19:30 before watershed so the prudish censorship made for mornings and afternoons is as terrible as you customers say if is and we are always right so sort it out please.
Thanks you programming is great even with it's issues keep entertaining us white English with engaging Indian British shows.
Also use your satellite providers TV clause to reopen up your English Entertainment channel Star One to give us limited Disney Plus linier channel new episodes and original TV films back from Star Global formerly Fox FX, Fox and Disney.
Team up with Sky as well to give us a limited selection channel full of new Disney and Fox films replacing the old Sky Movies Disney which gives us the newest, Marvel, Disney Non TV, FOX, Star Global and Star India movies.
Fox and Disney got boring with their 3 hours slots of the same shows which helped them get thrown off the air even without the Star Clause which could have kept them going but as a Star One with Kids 5am-9pm and Adults 9pm - 5am and no room for too many repeated slots and a stripped back TV offering compared to Disney Plus it would be Quality over quantity and it's needed too.
Waiting 4 years for a new Disney film on my Sky Subscription due to normal TV BBC and Film 4 only having TV rights not 1 year or less for a new Sky Star Cinema HD Channel like the old 80s days for big screen non 22" TV premieres that's a bad deal for the UK but Disney's Star Clause can sort that giving us limited best if selection on a Star branded English language channel instead of being named Disney or Fox making Disney Plus say hey you can't open that Channel.
Oops edited the 21:00 - 5:00 bit out before the watershed times part. I want you to know what time's I'm talking or it doesn't make sense.
Now I'm egarly waiting for a reply. Lol
Disgraceful unhelpful automated reply.
