Today was a much better episode overall with actual story movement.
The Ts & Loservedis remind me of kue ke mendak whose whole life is confined to that kua only & they have placed Didi on the pedestal as the queen in that kua😆. While the real world is actually gloriously larger than that kua & Imlie is such a dynamic personality in real world who will always manage to make her own path & lead the charge❤️.
Imlie was so fantastic throughout the epi today in her efforts to do something to get Adi released. She approached the police where she was dhutakaroed because the family had refused to give her credence. She approached her principal for help who while sympathising with her gave her valid reason for not being able to support her. But she didn't give up.
Next day she went to HM's home to meet him. Rupi Di was an actual support today. Instead of token bhaashanbaazi she actually did some concrete action to support her. Great. They both refused to go back without meeting the HM. Both conducting their dharna peacefully. NishVi joined them while again the elder Ts discouraged her attempts instead of supporting her. But not to fear. Her college friends showed up to support her protest along with some of Adi's colleagues as well.
The guard had to concede defeat & decided to inform the internal staff about Imlie's request to meet HM. But the goons turned the peaceful dharna into a lathi charge by hitting the guard. Imlie was hit.
Adi on the other hand was being true to his character & refusing to co-operate with the terrorists in anyway. He does not want to become a pawn to get a terrorist released. His life is not more important than that of the many citizens of the country who could get affected if the terrorists got released.
Jugnu showing Adi live telecast of Imlie's dharna was an act of SM. Otherwise the media was not doing any coverage of the news. I am glad that he got to see his Jhalli live in action taking on the world for him. I super loved his "Imlie from PD" intro. He is so proud of his Jhalli. He also saw Imlie getting hit by the guards which made him tear up. He never cares if something happens to him but he cannot bardasht his Jhalli hurt in anyway. He must have compromised with the terrorists to get to talk to Imlie otherwise why would they demand that Adi will talk to his wife only. It is Adi's demand only to talk to his Jhalli.
Didi did her usual drama. First making it a competition between her & Imlie when Imlie doesn't even care about how they reach Adi. Imlie doesn't mind if Adi gets benefitted by Didi's efforts. Her concern is that Adi comes back safely & not who brings him back. While for Didi it is always about proving that she is the one doing the work & getting the credit & adulation.
For one sec AC-DC actually were talking sense when they asked Didi to stay back & let DC handle the HM meeting. While Didi in her delusion is forgetting that Adi has claimed Imlie as his wife in the society, AC-DC have not. So they asked her to stay back. But Didi has no self respect. Chali hai muh uthake to flaunt her MS & sindoor & claim she is Adi's wife when there is no actual need of it. Being Adi's wife is inconsequential as she has already scored the appointment of the HM with her father's contacts. But Didi is actually doing all the work to prove to Adi & Ts that how great a wife she is to Adi. She is least bothered about Adi ki life in this. Didi ki chop honewali hai for sure in tomorrow's epi when Adi will insist on talking to Imlie only. Loser🤢.
I don't think Didi & DC will take Imlie along with them to meet the HM. Imlie will be invited inside because she was the one leading the dharna & got hurt in the lathi charge.
