Contrived toh definitely hai, cliches bhi hain kaafi ismein.....but overall treatment is still not as crazy as this would be in a regular ITV show.....Ts are being mean but it's still more of a cold war toh still manageable hai.....baaki toh actors are still salvaging it.

Baaki as I pointed out yesterday also, I wish Adi would tell them ki Imlie's life was literally in danger, that is why she couldn't go back to PD or stay elsewhere in the city and had to come stay with him in T house.......Ts ko is baat ka context bhi dena zaroori hai at some point ki Imlie has literally been saving Adi's life by putting hers on the line all this while to save him from PD waale and still let him continue his life in Delhi.

Ritu actually has a style of acting which is more about showing cold anger and then innocent vulnerability.....she alternates between those two states quite well actually.....like there are moments when she will glare at Adi with cold anger and you can actually feel the power radiating in her look ki woh Maa hai and he can't take her lightly😆.....then Adi staring back at her tow to tow ki Maa hai par phir bhi aankh se aankh milaa ke stand lunga main apna😆.....GM does that so well too.....lol....so when they square off each other with those expressions, it really works well for the scene.....matlab kaafi time baad I'm watching a Maa-Beta pair giving that sparks flying wala vibe.....GM-Ritu are making this fun😆 so much word.. I actually do not even remember the last time I enjoyed a Maa beta ka Tashan to this extent not in recent past for sure.. they work even better given they have never actually kept each other on pedestal the love comes through it is there but is on a very realistic level.. it shows in her typical mera Adi's while she'd be totally ignorant towards his actual feelings sometimes it is hilarious to see that too but these 2 are such fun to watch as actors

LOL Adi-AC face-offs are fun in their own way but with his Mom, it just feels more personal and like he's facing off against his mirror image😆......AC ke case mein he's facing off against a vindictive villain....in his Mom's case, it's more like facing off against an apna toh it gives a different flavor.....he's just as firm in his stance either way....and yes, it's quite fun to watch Aparna FLARE up and then retreat again when she sees Adi continuing to raise the stakes beyond her expectations😆

It's almost kinda cute that Aparna thinks she can control him when he has BARELY ever listened to her in general also🤣.....still she seems surprised when he defies her.....lol it's funny how that back and forth happens....she tries to warn him a bit, threaten him a bit and he's like nope....I'm just going to go do what I think is right and then she's just left watching haplessly for a bit before gathering the anger back again to push back at him.....lol

Otherwise koi sense hi nahin hai is baat mein that the Ts who berated AC for her ghatiya soch are now displaying the same themselves with barely any hesitation😆.....the haze of anger and the need to find a scapegoat has made them stoop so low.....baaki Adi ko humesha koi chahiye hota hai to fight against for his principles.....lol toh ab family ko khadaa kar diya hai uske khilaaf so that he can do his naarebaazi about fighting that ghatiya soch😆

Waise Adi jo marzi kar le, it will be Imlie finally who will manage to melt Aparna in her own way😆.....the last scene showed ki when Imlie is herself and just seedhi tarhaan expressing her maasoom wish for Aparna's love, Aparna isn't able to hold out against it that much also despite doing bakwaas....matlab kitna straightforward bol diya Imlie ne ki if you can consider me a beti, why not a bahu?....lol the fact that Aparna was willing to give pehle wala pyar even with a condition also is a big tell😆......she's trying to hold on to her false pride too like her son once did.....except she's being more vile about it for now so it's harder to watch......but the writers will easily flip it when they want to and say ki Adi-Imlie succeeded in making Ts realize how wrong their soch is......in real life though obviously kisi ki soch itni easily nahin badalti😆

We all know yeh Ts ka opposition to Imlie because of her background & their vile statements is contrivance to the extreme to generate shock & awe. Matlab not that it doesn't have basis just that the extremes to which they have taken the elder Ts in their vile comments to Imlie is too much.

We all know that their love for Imlie was genuine. We have many proofs of that. But that consciousness regarding her being not actual family has also been there in situations of crisis when they were scapegoating Imlie. But love has been genuine.

But the writers have taken a difficult set of opposition because the school of thought evolving requires time. I won't mind if they are planning to have a long term redemption arc but based on how Atif drives the story at a faster rate, their redemption arc will definitely get short-changed if it is quick.

I also think that Imlie herself will manage to pighlao Aparna. Adi becomes like a bull in China shop in opposition which aggravates Aparna more. While Imlie's softer approach has more impact on Aparna's heart strings. So I too think Imlie is the key to unlock Aparna's cold veneer.

Haan I feel that motivation speech from her Amma has done the trick.....so I'm hoping ki ab we will see some scenes of Imlie trying to be her usual chulbuli self to tease some smiles out of the Ts, soften them unwittingly......lol they are all just not conditioned to resist Imlie......they fell in love with her instantly the first time also not cuz she was a charity case but cuz she's naturally that lovable....inko bhi pata hai lekin abhi maanna nahin hai aur jhooti shaan/cheap soch ko lekar baithe rehna hai......lol dekhte hain kab tak kar paate hain.
