Anyway, I really have to say, the show has fans and dislikers alike but hands down, Imlie is the BEST Written screenplay on ITV in probably 5-6 years after krpkab. In fact one of the best ever

Really appreciate the writers and actors equally. I haven't been invested in any show like this for years

Yaar I am angry at Imlie today. Aditya wanted to talk to his mother, there was no need for Imlie to interfere. There were just the 4 elders of the house and Aditya. If he wanted to tell his family the truth, that was his problem, his wish. I am just failing to understand Imlie’s POV now. She does not want Aditya to speak up the truth and also is forcing Aditya to be with Malini. Does she not value Aditya, does his wishes, his feelings not matter to her. Why is it all about Malini for her? Fine, she can tell Aditya that just because he decided not to be Malini does not mean she will be with him. Her wanting to be with Aditya or not is her choice but it should be Aditya’s choice whether he wants to be with Malini or not.

She does not want to mess up Malini’s grihasti but does she not realize that in Malini’s grihasti, Aditya is there too and if he cannot be happy there, cannot give Malini happiness, what is the point of that grihasti? All this has nothing to do with Imlie. Aditya is not a kid. He went through his own cycle of hell before concluding that he needs to be separated from Malini. It is his decision. Imlie can support him or not but she can’t force him, blackmail him to be with Malini. This is just so wrong.

Why though? Imlie is doing what she thinks is right based on what Aditya has told her so far. Before he fell in love with her, he went on and on about why Malini is the only right person for him. And once he fell in love, he has not once told her why they were never right for one another. He has told Imlie they need to tell the truth but not the real why. He himself does not have complete clarity on it yet - he thinks Malini is in love with him. Remember the car/ chai conversation? Until he gets clarity on that and spells it out to Imlie, she will just think he fell in love with her and out of love with Malini. And that is not a burden she wants to bear.

Let's all take a moment to breathe a sigh of relief that a certain someone finally exited the house even if she did so after full court press waali nautanki of playing the bechaari and doing token apologies to Imlie and the family that she conveniently remembered only after she had rolled her bag into the main hall😆.

Anyways, the person to talk about today is Adi mainly😆.....first in the way he stood firm in the face of family and Imlie pressurizing him to stop Malini from leaving😆.....badi calmly he kept repeating his stance that this is the right call and Malini has made her decision so who is he to stop her🤣....Playing it very cool, Babusahib😆. Then all his frustration at Imlie still thwarting him from telling the truth to his family😆...she literally PAKAAOED him into leaving his OWN room in frustration😆.....phir se Imlie se irritate hoke chala gaya.....

I liked the brief Adi-Imlie argument in the corridor where she was on his case to bring Malini back, so he told her firmly that you don't try to come between me and Malini😆....haha badi der lagaa di itna bolne mein, Babusahib....aaj jaake his frustration seems to have reached the point where he is fed up of trying to samjhaao Imlie also😆....and Imlie ne toh badi jaldi nikaal liya apna brahmastra with the dhamki that if he doesn't bring Malini back toh she will leave the house😆.....strangely, no follow up to this scene....they switched to another scene abruptly and never looped back.

Then finally it seems some introspection is happening in the family, particularly from Aparna about what could have changed in a 7 year long relationship that they don't want to stay together anymore.

I had to laugh over the flashback they showed of Adi talking to Aparna about why he thinks Malini is the right life partner for him😆.....so firstly, it does seem like the family pressured him to get married and Malini seemed an easy option for him to pick based on whatever "friendship' they had established by that time. He was talking to his mom about how he doesn't understand TV/Filmon wala pyar😆 but Malini seems like a good life partner choice cuz he can talk to her for hours, kabhi ladaai nahin hogi cuz khayaal milte hain😆, she doesn't care about social status🤣 and is very mature🤣.....that about summed the list of Aditya babu ke delusions about Malini ji.

Man, it's kinda staggering the levels to which Adi got taken for a ride by her....Malini successfully fooled him into thinking they share the same thoughts on everything, and even fooled him into thinking she doesn't care about social status cuz that's what he wanted to hear....she literally mirrored back, replicated everything she thought he wanted to hear so that he thinks well of her...obviously you will think you can talk to someone for hours if that person just keeps repeating back everything to mirror your thoughts😆.......now it's all so crystal clear cuz she is doing EXACTLY this with Tripathi family and Imlie as well whenever she gets a chance.....I still can't tell if she is seriously this lacking in self-awareness or the cunning has just become embedded in her personality too deep for her to recognize.

Jo bhai hai, that gives us another piece of the puzzle for how this mess of a 7 year relationship came to be and even managed to culminate in marriage. Everyone around Adi is starting to question how it could all fall apart.....but the man in question himself is still more hung up on telling his Imlie wala truth rather than reflecting on his wasted 7 years of living a lie😆.....I guess these things will come to a head at some point.

Precap mein finally Rupi Di gets the "honor" of first Tripathi learning the truth😆.....Adi-Imlie arguing once again about sach bolna chahiye and Adi blurts out that I feel agar sabse lad jhagad ke bhi tumhara haath maanga toh shaayad tab bhi tum humara saath nahin dogi.....lol....Rupi di hearing the all important part about PD waali shaadi too....

Adini have been married for like what 7 months in the show? Adi is absolutely right here, they'll suffer anyway so it's better to get away from the guilt of lying.

About today's episode, I felt it was thoda sa filler specially because they're gearing up for the next big track.

@Malini ROFL this woman is truly vile nad loathsome. She LOVES creating drama and then being a saint. While leaving she was manipulating the family into forcing Adi to stop her but thank go he didn't yield. Plus her token apology to Aparna just to manipulate her and prove how mahaan she is. Imlie se sorry nahi bola, she has no remorse but today was acting like everything is fine. This woman ugh.

I'm glad T's are introspecting, they've long ignored Adi's feelings. I think they need to realise and see how their perfect maharaani DIL isn't so mahaan after all.

LOL it's hard to fully escape Malini in this epi also....she did her extended nautanki for about the first 6-7 minutes, then there was also a scene of her at C house.....but second half is slightly better with Mithi ka scene in PD and then an Aparna scene with a flashback about her and Adi.

I have to agree with people here. It is getting very exhausting to watch so much drama packed in every 20 mins episode. I am so tired of Aditya imlie stalemate. Everyone is involved in the mess. We get PD, T house and C house all in 1 episode, all in various degrees of sadness because of 1 problem. I really hope we get some light episodes soon. People need to give everyone some space. There is just so much mess. Any conversation that happens lead to either fight or argument. Is Imlie planning to go to college today? Aditya, what happened to his work? Can people just back off for a while so normal life can continue for a day or two before revisiting the topic again. I mean with the main 3 characters hum audience ko bhi thoda space chahiye. 😆 I am happy with the story but I need to see some light moments pronto.

Adi questioning Aparna was nicely done before Imlie cut him off. At first, I was like, why Imlie why? But, that guilt-ridden factor is so prevalent.

Imlie's perspective to clear up the mess is rather stirring up the melodrama in BS's perspective. So, nice to see this scene

Nice to see Satyakam back even though I did wish that he talk it out with Meethi. Meethi's plea was fairly visible & that half truth is eating her alive. Prakash's point wherein he postulated half-truth & half-lie scenario was like WTF?

Malini grehan on Aparna on lead to shedding copious amount of tears. Nobody is happy with her adamancy. LOL, ghanto baatein & ghanta rishta. 🤪

Exactly. She will change according to whatever situation is beneficial for her. Kabhi maha sweet and kabhi maha poisoned - as long as she gets her way, it’s all good for her ...
