The two-faced guilt trap - Page 4

Great write up AY and I cannot wait to read everyone's take.

The episode did leave a sour taste, but it moved. Malini questioned today, in a very opportunistic manner. I have been wanting this character to just speak up. Like bus kar na rona dhona and blank expressions, ask if he is not telling you! The creatives had an intent today and it was to make a certain section happy.

What bothered me more than Malini, who I usually just chose to ignore, was Adi. Did he keep quite because of his vachan to Imlie? I am still giving him that benefit of doubt. Afterall he has promised Imlie that no matter what Malini didi ka dil nahi dukh na chahiye. I was cringing after reading the TC article, but it was not as off-putting as my imagination ran wild LOL! I wanted to ask Malini, tujhko kabse privacy chahiye? Aren't you the the one seeking audience? I just wanted to give Imlie a hug, BAS. And I am glad this part is over, lolipops have been given to a certain grp and we are ready to move on!

So the last bit, IMO was a stage setting for the dard-games that are going to be upcoming at Tripathi house. We all know in the precap Imlie is going to ask BBS to move on, hence she will get into this platonic formal attitude with him, one of which will be knocking on the door! Fir dekhte hain Adi ke farak aur dard ka height!

But my botheration with the entire episode did not stop there...I was more annoyed by Papa C! This was Papa C's house where he invited Imlie because dadi and he wanted to spend time...but banda darr gaya AC ki koni se? I was half expecting him to join Imlie in the kitchen too. But nahi he chose to just have his monologue with the purdah and hawa!

Random thoughts:
- Loved the T's. Mutlab aaj inhone dikha diya ki tolerate karne ki bhi hadh hoti hai!

- I wanted to give the HAIN! to Malini when she asked about her mom to Adi in the beginning..mutlab banda is telling you blatantly fir kaunsi baat samajh nahi aa rahi thi?

- Adi's expression at lunch. The way he looked at AC...I was like bhaguji, yeh plates na todna shuru kar de abhi.

-And I did a faceplam to dadi ka announcement- yeh pandit ji haath bhi dekhte hain...dikhao beti publically! Apple does not fall far from the tree..

Yeah, Babusahib was a major disappointment today after having a good start to the epi otherwise.....Didi ka guilt trip brahmastra flustered him good😆....haan dekhte hain kal kaise waapis track pe aata hai....but then it's got to make you think ki if this is all it takes to derail him after otherwise showing so much tashan in front of Malini last few days.....lol toh aage kis kis baat pe fluster hota rahega? His guilt regarding her is one thing....but if he's just going to stand there mum while Malini treats Imlie like this in front of him and stumps him with her chipku hugs, toh phir kaise chalega? 😆

LOL Babusahib tashan thoda zyaada kar liye in the last few days, ab bhukto.😆 If he thought that she wouldn't push back against him after his recent behaviour, then he obviously never understood Malini. I think he has an ideal image of Malini in her mind and that's what he still uses to judge her...like today he called her shaant. Even though otherwise he's probably aware of her clingy nature & need to be coddled, I think he doesn't think she is fundamentally flawed. Toh right now I think that's what is stumping him and throw in his guilt in to the mix and he doesn't know how to deal with her. Babusahib right now is flying in the clouds LOL, he has no awareness of the gravity of the situation that he is in. Nor does he know how to deal with it.

I hope he's going to pushback against Malini's treatment of Imlie soon though, it would be against his character not to.

Haha aww I totally understand your frustration today.....last half of the epi soured my mood too.

But I think yahaan rant karke bhadaas nikaal lo toh mood thoda better ho jaayega😆.....mere liye toh that's working so far otherwise I was really pissed immediately after the epi😆

I was so happy with the first half and then everything went downhill. I know they ended today with Imlie closing the door but I am really hoping for a proper continuation with Adi confronting Malini about how she treated Imlie. But was really disappointed with Adi at the end. I hope he doesn’t start calling her mun again lol.

What do you guys think will Imlie say to Adi tomorrow?

Waise, it does like they end up in a mela thingy on the way back? Was it just me who saw people movement behind them? 😆 Who was it who mentioned mela? Was it Pam?

LOL oh interesting....you think this will set up dard games from Adi? Wasn't Imlie's dard more than obvious in the last scene as she was made to face the humiliation of Malini treating her like an outsider, a servant "intruding on a married couple"?

Is sabke baad bhi kya onus Imlie pe hona chahiye ki Aditya Maharaj pe to make up for this shit that Imlie is being put through cuz he insisted on dragging her back to his house? 😛

Bhaad mein jaaye Adi ka dard aur farak if one lame guilt trip from Malini makes him roll over😛....unless he makes up for this BIG time tomorrow, I'm not in the mood to give him any benefit of doubt right now.

Bas wohi dekhna reh gaya hai ab🤣.....Didi cracked the whip and he's ready to jump, haan?😆.....what difference will it make even if Adi confronts Malini after this....he won't be able to rebuke her for anything other than the usual, "Aapki mom ne Imlie ko naukar banaya".....does Adi have the guts to point out that even MALINI is treating Imlie like a servant? Lagta toh nahin.

Imlie will say NO to Adi tomorrow....short and simple😆.....and then probably some more gyaan on how she doesn't want to come in between him and Malini😆....is sabke baad toh full chance that Imlie may try to leave again😆.

@bold: That was hilarious....epi started off so well sach mein😆....even other random things were cracking me up like how Adi just has his hands in his pocket these days while standing next to Malini....he was showing his displeasure about the pooja and the impending insult session for Imlie very clearly.....gift lene ke liye bhi haath nahin badhaaye aage😆

And best ofcourse toh was the LOOK he gave to AC at the dining table🤣.....that look that said he can see through all her bullshit and he has no faraks left to give.....lol kaash wohi look Didi ke liye bhi deta....but Didi mein toh isko SHANTI KI DEVI dikhti hai😆

Other bit worth mentioning is the tiny moment in the pooja when Adi (who was otherwise in zoned out robot mode in the pooja) lifts his eyes to look at Imlie and she gives him a little smile back.

Baaki toh sab Didi ke black hole prakop ne khaa liya😆

I was having a blast with adi's behavior rodl the way he didn't bother to take the gift and riled didi up right away the tripatbis his shaklein banana at chauturcedis maze se leaving the table eye rolls at AC didi ki taraf dekhna bhi nahi in the kitchen convo and when she said I will go eat with who value her him going ok imlie start your food haha or ehen imlie said they are her friend hi being cool just eat then it was zabardast even his cringe at didi toot padhoing on him but then he said the crap.in his head and made me go screw you.. and then the lame imlie pe bakwaas.

He better now do something amazing or am done with him too lol
