Word about him being ill-equipped to handle the tamashe of Malini & his family. Yes, without Imlie he will be more frustrated & then complicate matters by doing some more kaand in impulsiveness😆 Even Imlie's "go to Malini didi" jaap might give impetuous to him to get separated from Malini faster warna Imlie ke saath usey life toh jeene nahi milegi as her husband😆

The others don't seem to care about his feelings regarding this situation cuz he's waited so long to tell the truth na....so the longer it gets dragged, people will become more desensitized to whatever trauma he may have gone through at one point. Especially now when his feelings for Imlie have turned genuine and he clearly wants to be with her....toh phir toh log aur bhi bolenge ki ghanta trauma😆.....you seem pretty happy being married to Imlie, so that must mean you cheated Malini.

I did get the "T's giving him the silent treatment but didn't they stress that they will ask him for justification. When Aditya said that he cannot tell the truth, as a mother shouldn't Aparna antenna be up, like a person who gives "duhaai" of truthfulness is not able to tell it, means something is totally wrong. Bus verdict suna diya....If this continues, Aditya will just clamp up and prefer to not say anything just making it worse than it usually is. Even if he blows up, his family will only blame him because they will not know the background of his frustration and Malini will again do the "bechari mein" rona.

Hence I agree that Imlie is the only person who can give him that emotional strength plus the motivation to move forward. Even her "go to moon" jaap will prompt him to take action just so as to end that frustration that what he wants is so out of his reach. The more he twaddles, the more he delays people will question his motives regarding his marriage.

Given a choice, I think he would want to reveal the truth to everyone immediately. Remember, he wants Imlie for himself. The only way he does not say something is maybe because Imlie holds him back. If the makers decide to flip it on its head and turn him into a sacrificing and understanding man, good for the character. But let’s see.

Do you think next few weeks - Adi will be able to be Imli's sounding board? I thought Imli wanted him to focus on Malini and it was a sin to divert his attention away from her - even for advice or direction. Wasn't she looking for a clean break. Thats where I was thinking Prakash came in - support system for the college phase.

I think the makers have made him openly churlish and suspicious of their relationship and that seemed inappropriate as the love story developed...but I give him a pass - since he did land in PG to Imlie's tears and unhappy state.

Is it iffy to give your childhood friend - jhumkas and a flower she was admiring to lift her spirits up? Imlie did not seem taken aback with that - she knew he must have observed her earlier - and her acceptance - validated those gifts for me as appropriate to their shared history.

Regarding comparison with Sundar - they play 2 different roles. Till date Sundar has been a co-servant - giving counsel at times, competing with Imlie in a fun manner, supportive without going overboard and adding moments of levity and furthering Adi's involvement with Imlie mostly by providing imagination. While I like his fun equation with Imlie - a Sundar Imlie suggested pairing would be insulting in my eyes. It would be like the T - boss people thinking - lets get the 2 servants married. Also education is a great equalizer and even though Imli is from the village she is educated and Sundar is not. I really would not want a Sundar Imlie romance - best they leave it be.

I don't much like the actor playing Nishant. He has been pretty umimpressive to date. But if they absolutely needed someone to rile Adi - my preference would be him - an equal to Adi. Even that my preference is they bring another story for him.

@bold: Oh yeah, same here....even I want them to show that subtle shift between Adi and Dev now.....Adi pulling back from him in some way would be an interesting background nuance even in the middle of this Malini manaaoing session.

The most notable thing as Adi was leaving PD was his constant hurt on behalf of Imlie that she doesn't even know the injustice done to her vis a vis her father....so I hope he doesn't try to make Dev out to be some victim there either and continues to be upset on Imlie's behalf towards Dev.

I'm ok with a few more epis of Adi-Imlie missing each other....we are getting nice flashbacks and imaginations sequences so far😆

I think they probably showed a phone call with the Editor instead of face to face interaction cuz they wanted to show Adi learning what level of info Malini has before going over to do his apology😆......also to show Editor saab putting that thought in his mind about Malini deserving to know the truth. This will all now shape how he talks to Malini in today's epi😆.

But word on wanting to see a face to face convo soon.....Adi seems fierce and ready to defend Imlie in front of anyone now😆....Editor saab ko bhi nahin bakshaa😆....aage nazaare dikhaayega yeh aadmi sabko🤣....

Imlie ko jo thoda bhi milta hai, woh usko sahej ke rakhti hai....she's ready to fight the world for the respect of that sliver of a rishta.....while Malini is ready to flush it all down the drain even when it's all being handed to her on a platter.

@bold - this. What an irony. And it is not just restricted to their relationship alone. She has handled pretty much everything for his family with an equal steadfastness without ever being asked or without ever asking credit for. He will at some point get it that she does this because they are an extension of him. He knows it is her generic nature anyway.

Re parallels yeah, that is what they will need to do in order to bring out the differences more prominently. But while Aditya starts getting what these differences actually are, the family might do a reversal because of constant AC intrusions and Malini’s drama. What they were already seeing they will stop seeing it for what it is for a while.

Re silver platter: I mean is it that difficult? How tough is it to actually put in effort towards a relationship. Especially one in which you invested 7 years of your life. One where material comforts are not as lacking. One where the family actually adores you. All the education and richness in the world could not compensate for four days of understanding. It is another thing that we the audience know what he went to PD for. But Malini does not - I still do not know how that lie of his affected her so much that she needed to leave the house and tell everyone at the drop of a hat what his faults are. It just gets hard to sympathize with this character at all.

Malini continued to wither and continued to make Adi a spectacle in front of her family, continued to play the martyr. Now, Aditya has to realize this fact. He has seen Imlie, he has experienced each every facet of her personality and knows her at the core. He knows her so well that he will defend her to no ends....😆But he does not know Malini. He thinks he does but the actual Malini is not what he thinks she is. I think he had these glasses on till now where she was concerned but now he needs to go through the same experience with Malini. I know the revelation of the truth will take time but they should at least show him go through this realization that how incompatible they are and hopefully come to the conclusion that he has loved only one person in life and that is not Malini.
