Actually if You see and Fb a little it brings a lot of thing s in prospective his journey to acceptance about his rishta started happening back then only.. and again i will refresh sabki memory by taking them back to The scene just before his wedding his dad telling himt he improtance of the rituals his face then having memory of all that in his head... the acceptance has started but the satya ka saath dene wala banda that he is couldn't have backed off then from his commitment that he made to malini that would've broken him then ke apne hi asool se phir gaya caz at that point it was allhe had to take pride in to feel like he is still himself.. after the traumatizing happenings of pD very fresh in his mind then.. at that time he needed to grasp this ke sab iske control main hai... so he went ahead but then in the process he came to the realization what pyar was and what jimmedari was .. and sicne then there has been no going back at every point a stark contrast has been set for the audience to see kaun pyar hai zaroorat hai and kaun zimmedari hai, duty hai ogligation hai.. hence it brings his Whole OTT behavior with malini in perspective too.. now that you think of it it feels faker then fake if tehre is any such thing and it puts it together why he had to try extra hard to make it convincing caz humko lag raha tha woh pyaar hai but all along asal zimmedari toh woh thi and zimmedari ke saath Pda asli toh ho nahi sakta..

You are so right, Fary!! I guess going through the rituals with Imlie (no matter how strongly he tried to forget those) did leave its mark. Although it did start as responsibility, the fact that Imlie never imposed anything on him and there was always something special about their interaction, (so organic and easy) and the fact that they share the same kind of principles and values eventually resulted in what was inevitable.

I just watched the new promo of imlie in SP.

They didn't show the same segment wali hug. It was from yesterday's episode. But rest of scene was promo sbs segment wala scene.

Adi and Imlie hugging . Then adi received a call from malini, imlie picked his phone and looked sad. 😒

thanks shweta for the update😊 it looked pretty obvious it will be a promo from the way it was shown:)) hope that clears logon ke conspiracy theories wale ideas:) and give them some shaanti before blaming ST and uss poor bachi ke age ya makers for nothing 😆

Re: the journey between pyar and zimmedaari......I think Adi is still yet to fully process how long that journey has been and how that connection from the moment he first met Imlie led to this point....

The other beautiful thing about the hug that I keep forgetting to mention....the very fact that there was that hesitation and awkwardness as they both tried to reach out to each other said SO MUCH.....Adi "dil mein jagah banaa li" ki baat karta hai....if this was just her making a space in one corner of his heart, if this was just about developing sympathy for someone you've spent so much time with, there wouldn't be any awkwardness....that would be an easy hug to move into. But the fact that it took this EFFORT, particularly from ADI's side said a lot in my opinion.....to me it says that he is still feeling overwhelmed by the emotions he's just starting to recognize.....the degree of them he is yet to fully understand....Imlie doesn't just have a space in his heart - she has become all his heart. And the contrast b/w this and all the easy hugs with Malini.....that's what they were trying to draw. This meant SO MUCH MORE, that is why it didn't come easy....but when he finally settled into that hug, that is when the sukoon set in.

Re: the poem....lol but I still want Adi to learn someday that Imlie wrote it for him😛😆....not for a realization but just for him to understand how he was mistaken about who wrote it for him.

Bold - so true!! The pain, the longing and finally the sukoon - all beautifully put in that hug. Both of them are really hurting and just starting to recognize the source of their hurt. The fact that there is so much hurt in this relationship means there is as much love. There will be all consuming deewana-wala love from Adi's side. Right now we are just getting glimpses.
