episode begins with Aditya’s mother Aparna missing Imlie , she remembers how Aditya was uncomfortable with Malini n her family .
Aparna and Pankaj miss the three Adi, Mal and Imlie . He asks her to trust their children and is sure they will all come back.
At village Imli’s mother confronts Dulari who wishes ill for Imlie n speaks about Aditya Imli rishtaa in poor light .
At night Imlie and Aditya have nok jhok while taking care of the Mannat ka Diya . She wants to stay up n save the Diya so that Bhagwan takes care of Aditya all his life . He argues against her beliefs , but she shares her beliefs . How a wife’s beliefs protected husbands , more so as he had declared her his wife before the whole village n given her his name !!
aditya wonders why Imli’s words affected him so much .. Imli tells him how important he was for her . . Dulari sabotages Imli and Aditya ‘s Mannat ka Diya at mandir but Aditya manages to save it burning his palm in the process .
Imli dissuades him from hurting himself for her sake /for their rishtaa’s sake but he insists on doing it because if her belief s . Imli gets another Diya and oil n places the burning wick from his palm into it .imli notices Naani near the mandir , she is sure it was Naani who sabotaged the Diya .
Imli thanks Adi for all he did for her, asks him to go back to city . Adi gets teary eyed and thunk he had tk go back , he had no choice .
At her house Malini misses Aditya n looks at their pics , she remembers Aparna n her FIL’s words that circumstances might be unfavourable but they had beautiful memories . So they should think of of those memories during sad times . The foto accidentally catches fire by the candle light . She tries her best to retrieve it /save it but she fails , her mother arrives and forbids her from injuring herself from the flames . She weeps but her mom assures she will get new pic next day .
Next morning Dulari is shocked to see her Charpoy surrounded by Diyas . She screams n seeks help . Imli confronts Dulari for what she did last night . Imli and Dulari argument over the validity of her rishtaa with Aditya .

Dulari confronts Imli that ehr rishtaa with Aditya was fake n their marriage was farce . Imli n her mother get teary eyed . To their utter surprise Aditya arrives and reprimands Dulari for insulting imli n her marriage . He threatens of dire consequences if anyone dared to insult imli or her marriage in future . He accepts they got married forcibly due to unavoidable circumstances but he assures he was with her by his choice n his free will , she was important part of his life .
