Who thinks Imlie is extremely over reacting and it looks fake? - Page 2

Well, since Imlie is from Gul's production house, this was bound to happen. The FL in every four lions films production house is irritating, overtly acting, overtly enthusiastic, belongs to a poor background, uneducated, while the ML is super rich (while Aditya is shown as a middle class man, but still he is way standardized than Imlie), well educated, prim and proper. These features are extremely mandatory for the production house, copied or not copied.

However, the point is even though they are repetitive and goes over the top most of the time, people who are really keen on watching ITV shows really love all these contents. These things are normal for great trps and people love spicy (including me some times when life gets boring). I'd ask you not to watch the show if you are finding it boring and over the top because it is, but we can't help it. :))

Very simple answer...... If anyone is very much picky when it comes to choosing ITV shows,then it's better to switch onto other media platform. Unnecessary topic to judge on Imlie' s acting. This show made it's own place in the very first week,till now the saga of strong trp continues.

To add to whats been already said...pls remember it's the writers and creators who create and shape Imlie into who she is. The director then dictates how dramatic and ott each scene needs to be. The actress herself is extremely talented and able to convincingly carry off such cringeworthy scenes well - and thats a big plus for this show. With the boss dinner - it was cringey - but they managed to interject a lot of humor with her words and also actions - eg - Adi diping down to get her to her feet. It was entertaining. She is being portrayed as wise in some scenarios and outright silly in others and that is her character sketch partly due to TRP seek. I don't understand which audience this caters to - but it's small price to pay for a good story and talented cast.

Please dont watch the show if you expect the character trajectory to be perfect. In the real world perfection is impossible, you can only have a reasonably nuanced character trajectory.

If you find the show and it's characters disturbed, irritating, overacting, stressful, why you watch the show?

Just spare us your negativity stop watching the show, and let us enjoy the show with trp aunties, it is made for us not for you 👍🏻

Imlie has honestly given me some of the biggest laughs😆

Is she over the top? Kind of.

But do I love her? Hell yes. I love her wild, crazy energy. I love that she never lets anything get to her. I love that Mrs. C can insult and humiliate her but she holds her pride and takes it all with a smile.

I love her magnetic personality - the reason why she has Aditya's whole family wrapped around her little finger😆

I love that she never plays the pity card. She considers Malini her elder sister in the truest sense...and for one minute, when she had that dream sequence of Aditya hugging her, she at once felt guilty and angry at herself for thinking that way...

I love her innocence...the way she teases Sundar...takes Aarti of the doctors...cleans the table while climbing on top of it...builds a shield using pots and pans to defend the house from dacoits🤣

Most of all, I love the intensity with which she loves. She's only 18 years old, but hell, she'd take a bullet to save someone she loves...and I mean that literally.

I don't want to see a more practical, "suljhi hui" Imlie...not just yet...I love her spontaneous, fun, wild side😃
