I found one thing is interesting about today's episode so thought of sharing.

I always felt that, for Imlie, what is hurting her the most is not losing Aditya to Malini , she doesn't even love him but she just wanted acknowledgment , because that's something her mother never had from her father. Also she never had her father's name so it's her trigger point. If only Aditya had revealed the entire truth the very first moment after reaching city and arranged for resolution of the marriage, it'd have given her closure. But he swept it all under the carpet and kept her as a maid and personal punching bag and then yesterday's trash to be taken out.

So suddenly makers woke up and realised that at this point Aditya's character is the big baddie of the show and is not smelling rosier than cheapda Shashank. So in a botched attempt to damage control his character, they made him say that he won't have any problem if she reveals the truth at this point and won't even ask her any questions about it later. smiley32smiley32 Wah wah ! Aditya , ab aap ko Moon ke delicate health ki khayal nehi aayi?? If she couldn't take it on the coffee shop and went to a shock, what'd you think her reaction would be finding it out at the mandap when she's standing in bridal glory ?? Basically neither of Adilie character making sense today.

But that reassurance that he won't stop her from revealing the truth is probably the first instance of him giving Imlie any kind of actual choice regarding their marriage , instead of categorically telling her what to do, like he has done so far.

And having that choice, that upper hand in a situation is what gave her strength and gave her closure. Can I hope to see a more empowered Imlie focussing on her education from now on ?? The magnanimity she showed by boldly giving away her wedding veil to Malini as her wedding veil is a gesture that she's letting go of Aditya full and finally. The way you let go of ashes in the water after last rites of a lost loved one.

She won one over Aditya, Malini and entire Tripathis. Not just Dev even snooty Anu thanked her today. Her simple yet grand wedding gift of Adini touched every one's heart.

Move on Imlie, move on. If something belongs to you , it'll come back to you since you've let it fly. And if it doesn't, no sweat, it was never yours to begin with and like your Dadda mentioned today also , your dreams were always something else. You concentrate on that journey.

1. Wonderful post. And even when she was asking for her 'rights' I felt it more like an act of helpless desperation that anything else. Anu's interrogation about her father, her comparison between herself and Meethi.. I guess what I see is an 18 year old's fear for the future. Would she too be a woman who is forever in waiting? Would she too be stuck in eternal limbo? Neither here, nor there.. a married girl yet not anyone's wife. And it is this split panic that caused her to voice out and demand her 'rights', even when she had none. But the moment she saw Moon walking in as a bride, her eyes full of love and hope for the future, she realised what a grave mistake she was about to do and immediately stepped back. For me personally, I see it as an act of growth than an incident which butchered her integrity (which you mentioned in another post). They were definitely trying to white-wash Aditya there though, that I agree.

2. THIS!! All of this!! That simple gesture of hers.. giving away her OWN chunri to save the bride's day.. it required so much strength. THAT was the moment of closure that Imlie needed. THAT was when she fully realised and accepted what her role now was, and where she stood in his life. Instead of the weepy, sad Imlie of the past few episodes, I saw in her eyes today resignation, along with a new determination. I found it very powerful. Seeing Malini in a bridal costume, giving away her veil, it gave her a sense of finality. Even later, we see her admitting she didn't know where life would take her after this, but all she knew was that her place definitely wasn't here. Like you said, I hope Imlie focuses on her education now. She shouldn't give two hoots about Adi or Moon of their relationship. Those are all things of the past. Imlie should only look forward now. <3

Yes by giving away her own veil she put a closure on her wedding, so from this point she should only think about her education n future.

Adi revealing truth at the last moment was a dream sequence i think, it can't be real.

suddenly adi ke andar ka soya hua imlie ka pati jag jana aur sab kuch bata dena is just impossible! 😆

but yes imlie's hubby surely is triggered by that leach shashank's kand n surely imlie ka soya hua pati jag gaya neend se par sirf uska neend tuta hai abhi pura jagna baki hai 😆

Aur afsos ki baat yeh hai imlie ko ab koi fark nehi padega ki uska pati soya hua hai ya jaga hua 🤓
