FANFICTION 2 - PART 3
Lucky did the funniest thing to Raghav when Sia was pregnant with her.She was a very energetic fetus and loved to kick and move around.When Sia asked Naina or Juno to feel, Lucky would always kick and respond but as soon as her Father tried to feel her she would just stop moving and kicking.No movement,Nothing,as if she is not even their.It was funny.She loved to tease her Daddy like that. But Sia had a feeling that Lucky already recognized her Father because she would kick the crap out of her whenever she heard his voice from a little distance. Sia used to laugh at this tactics of her baby but she never told this to Raghav.You don't get to see Raghav Oberoi miserable everyday, now do you?? Sia knew then, her child is going to be the Chief Troublemaker just like her Father though.
Sia was admitted at the Hospital as her due date was coming close and Raghav was in Amsterdam for his work.He would have readily cancelled everything but Sia wouldnt let him... Going on and on about work ethics.
Raghav was coming back just a week before her due date with 1st flight he could cath which was 4:40 in the morning... Yep, you heard it right...in the morning ...Well, What the hell, of course his wife and baby are more important than his sleep.
"Hello,Pushpa kaisi ho tum, mai aa raha hu wapas ... mera man nahi lag raha yaha per yaar"
"Raghav tum paglaa gye ho kya, aaj to tumhari last meeting hai ... abhi to kuch final hi nahi hua hai and abhi 3 aj rahe hai Raghav, dekho, tumhe Neend aa rahi hogi, thake hue ho, dekho tumhare room main, tumhara soft soft bed, to chalo ab chup chaap se so jao and tum apna kaam khatm karke hi aaoge, Samjhe" Sia said to Raghav as if she was talking to a toddler
"Ohho Pushpa, tum bohot bolti ho ... mera man nahi lag raha na yaha, im just so restless, ohot ajeeb si feeling aa rahi hai Pushpa" Raghav whined just like the toddler Sia just tried to reason with.
"Raghav, zid chhoro, tum jis kaam ke liye gye ho agar wahi pura nahi hua to tumhara itni dur jaane ka ... itne dino tak mujhse dur rehne ka kya faeda hua, bolo? ... tum araam se apna kaam aaj khatm karlo, bas aaj ki hi to baat hai ... chaho, to meeting khatam kar ke flight pakad lena na"
"Ha Pushpa per tum ..."
"Nahi Raghav, tum abhi nahi aoge ... Kaam ko aise aadha adhoora chhorna upshagun hota hai Raghav, ab tum abhi koi chance mat lo ... kahi mujhe ya hamari baby ko kuch ..." and Sia felt a little uneasy.Raghav cut her off before she could say anything ahead
"Chup karo Pushpa, bas aage aur kuch mat bolna nahi to mai abhi ka abhi ... night suit main hi jaakar flight main baith jaunga samjhi?'
"To bas baat khatm, Tumhe hamari baby ki kasam hai Raghav tum apni meeting ke baad hi aoge"
"Per..."
"Offo Raghav, Tumhe na jo karna hai wo karo ... mere bolne ka kya faeda, akhir main to tum wahi karoge jo tum chahte ho ... to bas mujhe pareshaan mat karo ab" and Sia cut the call
"Ye Pushpa bhi na ek bar bolna start karti hai to iski zabaan bullet train se bhi fast bhaagti hai " and he smiled a little.

Its not like Sia enjoys iit when Raghav is not around, in fact ...she hates it but she would NEVER admit it. She wants him as close to her as possible, especially in a time like this.But she is not alone, Naina, juno or Raghav's Mom take turns to stay with her in the hospital.And she feels safe ... restless ... but safe still.
But knowing Raghav,He must be boarding the flight by now. wo kabhi kisi ki baat nahi sunta, hamesha wahi karta hai jo uska dil kahe.
"Sia Beta?" Sia was brought out of her thoughts by the voice. She looked around and found Raghavs mom standing by the bed and looking at her curiously
"Kya hua beta? tum pareshaan lag rahi ho"
"Ma mai Raghav ke baare mai soch rahi thi" Sia said and then blushed furiously "Nahi mera matlab..."
The elder lady smiled "UmmHmm ... Raghav to after all tumhari life ki sabse badi pareshaani hai na?'' she said and was about to laugh any second just like Raghav does.
Sometimes Sia was really surprised to see how much Raghav was like his Mother. The teasing streak was just one of those things.The only thing she found similar between Raghav and His Father was the ability to tackle any problem with so much patience and ease, that it was like the problem never existed.
"Maa aap bhi naa " and Sia relaxed a little bit and laughed.
Raghavs mom chuckled with her but became very serious the next second ("Talk about similarities between Son-Mom duo, huh?" Sia thought)
"Sia i know that aise time me, you must be wanting Raghav with you.But dont stress out Ok." She said lovingly patting Sias head.
And Sia relaxed a little more.She was thankful to have Raghavs mom with her, at a time like this, she needed a Mother around herself ...

Raghav packed His things and checked out of the Hotel, He had already booked a cab and was waiting in the lounge ...

Sia was talking with her mother inlaw in the the hospital room ... Her personal Nurse was their checking her blood pressure and doing things whic Sia couldnt understand ..well she wasnt a medical student ...
Raghavs mom was flicking through news channels when ...
A France Airlines plane from Amsterdam to New Delhi reportedly carrying 136 people crashed a few miles away from the Amsterdam-Schiphol International airport after making its departure from their around 8:15 by IST time zone abbreviation and 4:45 by the CEST time zone abbreviation .At least 43 people reported dead ...
Raghavs Mom drooped the glass she was holding, Sia didnt even react to the unpleasant sound of the glass breaking into pieces. Sia was Horrified, she must be hallucinating, this cant be true ... she looked at her Mother-in-law and she looked like she was about to faint.
"MAA..."
Sia tried to hold her and calm her down, "No this just cant be true" ... thisi s not happening.Raghav must have listened to her.He must have missed the flight ...
"Maa aap shaant ho jaeye .. dekhiye Raghav ne wo flight miss kardi hogi .. maine usse kaha tha ki wo meeting ke baad hi waapas aaye..Maa aap ..."
But The elder lady fainted, she was taken in another room for assessment by the doctora nd the nurse.
Sia just kept sitting on her bed rocking backan d forth ... she needs to be strong... for her child... ."Kuch nahi hoga"
She dialled his number but it was switched off.
"Pushpa, Be Positive" She heard Raghavs cheery voice in her mind. And tried to calm herself
but deep down inside she was franatic ... she wanted to scream and shout and yell ...
shivers were running down her spine ... She wanted to let it all out but she couldnt . She had to be strong ...
That is when Juno entered the room with Naina behind him and all her self restrain went to hell and she started crying hysterically ...
"ARJUN... ARJUN... WO..WO RAGHAV... arjun please kuch karo ..." Juno was already sitting on the bed beside Sia and tucked her safely in his arms ... Sia clutched his waist and started babbling again " Maine use mana kiya tha .. kaha tha wo flight miss karde .. please Arjun ... uska phone bhi switched off hai"
"Shhh... Sia... dont worry ... Raghav ko kuch nahi hoga ... ok mai abhi use phone lagatah u ... uske Hotel ka Number hai mere paas ... mai abhi phone karta hu ... tum relax karo Sia " He heald her face in his hands and wiped awayh er tears.
"Naina..." Naina came and sat by Sia and Sia started crying on her shoulders.Juno came out of the room and started dialing franatically .
"Hello, jaldi se pata karo ki Amsterdam se Delhi aane waali flight per Raghav Sir ne board ki ya tha yaa nahi " very matter of factly.
Then he started Dialing Raghavs Hotel Number.
"Raghav ne zarror Sia ki Baat maani hogi ..."
"Hello, umm Has Raghav Oberoi checked out from your Hotel ..."
"Yes,Sir he checked out quite early in the morning. He had a flightat 4:45. Is their any problem?"
Now Juno wanted to cry ..." Raghav, RAGHAV, RAGHAV" he was chanting in his head.
"No, thankyou"
...
He was scared.It was the most terrifying thing he has faced in his whole life.He doesnt remember the last time he was scared so much. His best friend..His brother...No he was more than a brother ... He couldbe d ead right now. His other best friend could go mad any second and he hasn't faced a situation like this in his whole life. He wanted to cry and scream for one of them but wanted be strong for the other.So at he end, He just kept quite and did his work.Calling Airlines inquiry and Raghav but silently he scream in his mind . "Raghav..."
...
11 hours later ...
Raghav was standing at the Delhi airport, stretching and yawning.It took almost 9 hours to reach here from Amsterdam. And he hasnt sleeped the whole days.He wanted to board the flight in the morning per... " tumhe hamari baby ki kasam" tthat thing Sia said kept popping in his mind.And seriously, he didnt wanted to take any chance, just for the sake of the baby .And because Raghav is Raghav, and he is unpredictable so he Made the cab take the U turn and landed at the meeting place with all his luggage.And because Raghav is The Raghav Oberoi, and he is invincible so nobody questioned him ... its just not that weird for people to come to meetings with all of their Luggage... is it??
He took off for the Hospital and almost ran in the hospital with all his luggage ... His battery died down because he was very careless and hasnt talked to anyone after he talked to Sia in the morning.
"Almost 110 people died in the Plane crash, the plane took off from the Amsterdam at 4:45 by the CEST time zone."
A shudder ran down his spine. "What the ... ??" He hit his head " Oh Freak ... To mai aaj marte marte bach gaya huh??" he just couldnt believe it. And then he realized "Maine to kisi ko batya bhi nahi ki mai flight miss kar raha hu ..."
He left all his luggage by the hospital TV and Ran.
He found his juno sitting on the floor beside a room which was not Pushpas and he looked ... "Oh Freak..."
"Juno...??"
Arjuns head snapped in Raghavs direction ... and he looked so broken and scared ... and Raghav wanted to just cry with him ... not because he was scared ... Just because Juno was crying and he just couldnt take it ... Juno never cried ... not unless he was gravely upset ... So Raghav tried to lighten up the situation ...
"Oye Juno ... dude you look like tune bhoot dekh liya hai?"
Junos eyes went wide and it was almost as if he just realized that he was not hallucinating and His buddy was actually standing in front of him joking.
He stood so abruptly that even Raghav took back some steps ...
"Juno wo ..."
Before Raghav could utter one more word he was tackled into a ferocious desperate hug by his "brother from another mother" and they both almost fell down ... Rahav returned the hug with lots of soothing words and pats added in it and before he could say anything else ... Naina came running and pushed Juno away forcefully, hugged Raghav herself just like her husband did and sobbed uncharacteristically in his shoulders.Naina was a strong woman.Atleast she didnt cry as much as a certain She boxer he knew.
" Seriously Guys, aaj ~ HUG RAGHAV TO DEATH DAY ~ hai kya? " and tried to lighten the mood when he herd the cry of a baby, a new life, coming from the room Juno was sitting outside. And now He was even more shocked... "Per due date to 1 week baad ki thi naa?Pushpa kaha hai?wo kaisi hai?"
He looked at Juno and Naina, for some reason they looked shocked and relieved all at the same time.
"Guyz, kya hua?"
"Raghav wo... wo Sia apne room main hai ... Sia gave birth to a "stillborn" baby some hours ago" and Naina was crying out of relief now but she looked shocked and happy still.
Raghav was about to faint ... this all was too much even for him so he sat down on the chair near him ...
"But wait ... abhi ... she cried naa ... my baby??" finally he processed it in his brain and smiled
Juno,Naina both smiled ... Arjun sat beside Raghav and hugged him again
"Wah yaar .. tujhe to already pata chal gaya ki daughter hai?"
Raghav got confused ... "huh?" and it dawned upon him, He said "she" without even giving it a thought!! "OHHH"
Raghav shared a smile with his best buddy "Haa bas pata chal gaya, mujhe to pehle se hi pata tha ki beti hi hogi" " Yaar my daughter saved my life ... if it wouldnt have been for her .. mai to pakka wo flight board kar leta, Pushpa ne uski kasam di thi" and Juno patted his head like an older brother.
"My daughter ... She is Lucky" and he chuckled a little bit
"Haa, aapki daughter lucky to hai ..." a female doctor came out of the room holding a bundle of white sheets from which was coming the cries of the newborn.
The doctor came closer ,handed the baby carefully in Raghavs hands and for the SECOND!! time in his life,RAGHAV OBEROI WAS STUNNED...
