Agreed, the way they have established Saahir so far he is way to weak at heart to be a Maxim! It takes great strength of character to keep your pain hidden in order to preserve your loved ones innocence. In one of the scenes last week Arzoo told Saahir he is so Mahaan that he keeps his pain bottled up. I watching didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Bottling up his pain is the last thing Saahir has done. And Arzoo should know this because ever since she met him she became his punching bag to release his frustration in the form of anger fits, verbal abuse, get out from my life, yet I will still get angry if you move your desk, I will get angry if you serve me dinner, if you break my dream. She endured emotional blackmail and forced into marriage like she didn't have a will of her own. The only thing he didn't do was verbally tell her about his pain. His body language and actions were screaming look at me I'm in pain. He was too weak to keep it bottled up. He use to go have anger fits with a comatose patient for God sakes. Arzoo has long lost her innocence. Imagine the Arzoo we saw in the beginning who use to cringe at site of her father melt her anger because her husband did the same thing as her father and brought another woman home. She is a completely different and submissive character now. At this point Saahir can only ease all the pain he has given her by telling her verbally about his past. There is no way he is shielding her from pain like Maxim.
