Ok...so the classic question...do you want the good or the bad first?
Let me answer that myself...what was good was the SaAz bits and what was bad was that they were just BITS !
Since we are gluttons for punishment I will again start with the good BITS...
Arzoo's profound realization of love...through the haze of tears and fear she realized that Sahir had been put in her life for a reason..everything had a reason...and she simply hadn't seen that ..at all...in all the fights and anger she had missed seeing what was most important in her life!
She even recalled some moments with Sahir for good measure although some of them weren't apt given that they were of the game time!
I felt sorry for Arzoo...what a time to come to know this...and yet..it seemed to give her a new resolve to fight for Sahirs life..even if that fight was against the one who decides everyone's fate!
That was a scene well done..👍🏼.
Arzoo's thought regarding Alviras behaviour was spot on...how could she have any work more important than her son who was fighting for his life ...the doubts have started!
With the doctors ultimatum ringing in her ears all Arzoo wanted was for Sahir to wake up and she challenged him that she being more stubborn than him would ensure that he spoke to her whether he wanted to or not! Her beseeching him to open his eyes if only to lie to her..was..😭.
And when her tears fell on Sahir he did open his eyes and his first concern was if she was fine! Kya pyaar hai😳. Both comforted each other so sweetly..Sahir gripping Arzoos arms and wiping her tears and struggling to speak but still asking about her first..was .
And no need to mention but I will anyway...HC was ....
Sahir insists on going home and as if on cue the doctor agrees promptly...but that was the least silly in the episode and given the level of medical expertise they seem to have let's just let this one go!
The most heartwarming scene was Arzoo preventing Sahir from waking up...telling him ..scolding him he needs to rest..and snatching away his phone and refusing to give it back...she was so authoritative that he was stunned and weakly reminded her that he doesn't take orders. And pat came the reply that he would have to start now and she was the one issuing them! And he had to comply!
But not before he told her that she was the first person who had cared enough to show so much right over him..that was an Awww moment alright...heartwarming scene this!
And the bit of closeness between them...Arzoos wet hair...brushing past Sahirs face,,,.dripping water droplets on him...he was completely mesmerized and I don't think he wanted to really protest!
And the way Arzoo moved her hand over his eyes and his face was.
And her dialogs to herself that..haq is shown over what is ones own...and aap hamare hain...and Arzoo Sahir .....the acceptance...the understanding..the care..we wanted!
BUT BUT. BUT
This BIT of SaAz was punctuated with a lot of nonsensical forced advertisement of Godrej products which took away the seriousness of the situation as well as the intensity!
We really don't want to see Godrej bed and mosquito repellant and vada pav being endorsed in the episode immediately after Sahir has been shot and in the episode where Arzoo realizes what he means to her and accepts him as her husband!
I think the CVs should seriously take note that it won't be long before we die hard SaAz and Sahir fans stop watching 20 minutes of sheer stupidity just for 2 minutes of SaAz or Sahir! It's high time they kept the intensity at a level the situation and the story deserve!
