@Sush - why go hollywood, many indian tv actors have education from preier institute. Sameer Soni is graduate from UC Berkley and worked as an investment banker prior modeling. Himani Shivpuri I believe holds PhD in Chemistry and list goes one and on. I am very well aware of how parental pressure on very specific field of education looks like. Bha7 don't you say anything on how I dealt with it 😆

@Bha7 - well Sush corrected it or was going to say that dude didn't finish the program. God knows how many times ma had ssaid that even I know Yes it snowed here today but I was not off. I only left early half an hour as my colleagues pissed me off big time 😡

Looks like today's episode wasn't that great hence no discussion on that !

@ Bhavi the reservation is still on in India...a volatile subject on both side so not touching it 😛

I think in India there is a paradigm shift happening where talent in any thing is being appreciated and encouraged ...I am boggled by some of the kids I have seen in few Indian talent shows ..singing dancing amazing. The whole entertainment industry is now a viable career option not just acting.

I give so much credit to Sanjay Kapoor who. 25 years back made cooking an art and ordinary folks got this confidence of doing fancy. as people start realizing that good food is more than just good food..

Btw lot of Hollywood actors have IQ more than 140...Natalie Portman, Sharon stone, geena Davis, Steve Martin...and you know acting is functioning creativity. . U have to have a high functioning right brain...I am sure the khans of our own Bollywood must have very high IQs too. There are doctors too in our Bollywood..

Sush it seems New York area got saved a little the whole blizzard blew to us mass, nh and Maine. Nj my friend was saying 6-8 inches

Hubby and I were shoveling we were thinking That we have not seen that much snow in one go...this is the time u feel good about investing in a good snow blower😊

Today's episode was just an episode...I am trying to think if HS will beat Rr in length...????it seems the shows I like Trp is down on them😆

Oh speaking of engineering I forgot to mention even Payal Rohtagi, one who plays Anam is an engineer by education. She attended L.D. Engineering in Ahmedabad and I know it as fact since one of my cousin was her junior and her professors often talked abt Payal 😆
