Well Anastasia wanted Christian as her husband ....sure there are women out there who for different reason live with men with issues ...call it love or whatever .

Btw , don't waste your time reading 50 Shades ...it's disgusting ...imagine had to read for my book club The women voted unanimously for ...shades

I agree Shweta that women marry men for all sorts of different reasons and same goes for men but general consensus if you look at matrimonial match back in the day (I heard even that has changed now from the documentary on NDTV here in UK) is to find a match that is of the same background and can take care of you and the future family. I know things have changed and as working women our interests and ideas have changed too.

The documentary which I have saved and haven't watched yet throws light on how things are changing in India. Women are hiring PI's to look at prospective groom's family and who the groom socializes with. Same goes for the groom, he has hired them to look at the bride's family and how much dowry to ask for so he doesn't get turn down.
