I am all for creative liberty and letting them sketch the characters the way they want...but at the end of the day...the audience has to be able to not only stomach things...They need to "like" what they watch...

I am actually not surprised that Arzoo is turning so bitter...after the arson drama...although...somehow I want to watch something that I feel good about overall...with all the extremism shown by Sahir...and the family...not in the right frame of mind to enjoy romance...not quite yet...But something positive about the characters something relatable ...would be good...

Ekta revolutionised tele industry ...the Saas/ Bhahu sagas , extra marital affairs , remarrying the same women , the vamps ( men / women ) all is said and done ...now what ? You and me both know unless you bring something new to the table no one will give you a chance in any industry ...we working women have experienced these situations at work . 4Lions is trying hard to make it big ...they have a trade mark their unconventional " Heroes" this is how the audience recognizes the PH ..it's like associating Sharukh with romance ...Now if we look at 4lions history they have given the audience what ( correct me if I am wrong ) four heroes ( QH has two from what I have been told ...season 2 ) they all were same and not ...few qualities separated them . Sony is a liberal channel ...Gul and team decide to bring something completely new to the audience you have to give them credit to push the envelope and bring a dark ML ...you and me old schoolers may not like our ML 's with the qualities seen in Saahir ... but trust me have spoken to many ...general consensus is " Saahir " is a hit ...

Tele industry is tough business ...matter of survival bring something new which has not been seen and told simple as that . 0.3 TRP's for a new show on Sony is great ...sounds absurd but its a fact ...not naming any shows but other shows on Sony had lower TRP's and survived for at least 8 - 12mths .

Sush , it's like 50 shades of Grey was cringeworthy / repulsive for me ...was the best seller in 2011 ...the protagonist was a hit .

Arzoo will be the same old Arzoo at heart ...she will teach her husband in the language he understands best ...can you blame her ?

No one in my circle is liking this Shwets...But then we are not the target audience for 50 shades either...

Sush and Swetha butting in 😆 was just going to say that Saahir is super hit in my part of the world as well.. He is the talk of the town infact my mom who found HUMSAFARS boring in the beginning is now loving the show especially since the Nikaah happened.. Logic aside she is now looking forward to the show post Nikaah also my circle of friends are now getting more addicted to the show 😃 they all love SAaz chemestry and Harshad chopda just ROCKS 🥳 we all can't stop drooling on him a big fan girl right here 😆

Anyways I think one of the SBS segments did say this show is a hit abroad it's doing pretty well so let's wait and watch 😉

Sush I'm definitely with you on the Way they made Saahir character to be especially the arson incident that was very much the limit that too being a male lead was very unacceptable but that's what probably they wanted to experiment with male lead make him dark but what I don't understand is how are they gonna redeem him when they need the love story to start 😕
