Yes Daksha...the point is not that his actions are correct...no...they are not...but his intentions are not wrong...and he always accepts his mistakes and is accountable for them before anyone has to point them out...that's why although he is a bundle of contradictions he is easier to relate to!

If he were not practical after seven years of living for a promise made to zeenat and nothing else that would be wierd...he cannot suddenly go back to being an idealist and say love is all that's needed!

Lovely post Pri! Yes today's epi showed Sahir' desire to protect her from the world... of course sometimes she also needs protection from his own brand of love and caring 😆

But be it teaching her the importance of marketing in creativity or the importance of money in life... he doesn't believe in giving bashans... he will try to speak to her a couple of times and then if that doesn't work he is going to do whatever he needs to do to ensure that she is protected from the world.

And yes telling her that he loves her is not the way out now.

How sad was the jahannum line 😭

And the below two sentences written by you... so apt and spot on.

He is OK with her hatred if that means she will accept the comfort of his protection.

... For which he was willing to be the bad one in her eyes..

its unfortunate that Arzoo cannot see behind his actions, does not even tend to think about his conditions, but a day must come when she will realize that he loved her and always did this to protect her future.

Yes sun...the way he was trying to tell her practicality matters,..it was clear he didn't want her suffering like him...he didn't have anyone to protect him but he wants to be there for her!

After all this instead of starting to see the real Sahir Arzoo will turn into a ruder Arzoo?

u know junoon...i find sahir to be very different...

he has his own ways of doing things...be it loving aarzoo...be it caring for her family...be it dealing with sarfaraaz...or be it protecting aarzoo...

he's different...all his actions are masked beneath his stern and certain ways of doing things...

not many ppl r gifted to look beyond that mask...and see the real gem hidden beneath it...

question is...

is aarzoo the gifted one ?

Vandy I am so irritated with Arzoo off late, that I just want to go there, kick her out and move in. I can already see the gem hidden underneath LOL. But something tells me I will have to fight a forum full of women. 😆

I agree that Sahir isn't expressive in words but I do believe that his actions speak far more than Arzoo is willing to listen to! It's high time she did! One simple example would be...why would he feel guilty and look out for get after he told her it was all a drama...he should care two hoots right??

But she isn't looking beyond herself ...never has she done it...not when there was an opportunity and definitely now now when she is surrounded by problems of her own family's making!

Sahir was that person once upon a time who wore his heart on his sleeve and it was ripped apart...so he has learnt his lesson a little too well...and with no one to guide him it's obvious he believed the world is all about money and everyone in it values you only for money.

However he cares about Arzoo a lot and wants her to not fall prey to that same thinking...but Arzoo will stay in his house but not listen to good advice from him..so what is he to do?? It's high handed I agree...but his intentions are to save her and that good for nothing family of hers!

How ironic that the one who he believed would make his life heaven again told him he can go to hell!

I don't think he deserved to hear that 😭
