Sorry for the late response to this, but once I read it I wanted to savour the feelings that it invoked just like the cornetto that Arzoo was after...the whole chapter flowed beautifully and it gave us an insight into how these amazing individuals are so in tuned with another...

I think someone else has mentioned this...Sahir may have come across as being selfish to Arzoo by not sharing his cornetto but what she didn't see is the love and care he had by not wanting to worsen her condition and that goes for when he owned up to not doing his maths work.

The tree part well who wouldn't want to be impulsive when you're a teen life is always an adventure and it seems to me that Arzoo will learn how much life will teach in the chapters to come

Ooops didn't realise I'd have verbal diarrhoea for the first chapter...er don't go expecting it each time 😉

ps can I ask why your heart is not in it? It certainly didn't come across in the story...

Thanks Fari. Haha yep though they are very unforgettable characters till they butchered them...I honestly hope this is not the same for Sahir and Arzoo...I'll be enjoying whatever story you come up with coz you're a fantastic and imaginative writer :-)

I was wondering when you gave this title as SELFISH AND THE SELFLESS...so who was who ?...
Now i can say that clearly that Aarzoo is the selfless one here...and Sahir is somewhat selfish...though i will not judge him now...till i got to know him better here...so yeah...i have to wait for the story to unfold then...
This is such a interesting start...
