Hi Sush...apt title for an episode in which only that scene made any impact!
And very nicely expressed 😃.
Thank you, Pri!
The beating scene...acting was brilliant...expression of pain...intensity..self torture...all very very well done...kudos to Harshad indeed for that!
Yes...that was some intense acting!
BUT I completely concur that it was a little too much ...for the character to be doing...unless they have a justification for it...even so...such scenes make me very uncomfortable as well!
And the impact of this scene was lost because the episode started so abruptly with it..Sahir had already taken out his anger on himself using the axe...this could have been his reaction after the hug in the hospital and would have made more sense as he would have seen the reson why he shouldn't be going close to Arzoo yet again!
Probably they wanted to show...he doesn't want to allow himself to be attracted ...not even once...If he does it again...he will be mad at himself and also at Arzoo now I think...lets see...Bituwa is still fresh in much mind...going through these phases...
After that beating it was a wonder that Sahir could get up much less walk so he definitely seems in a trance..in his own world..I don't think someone who had just done that to himself was capable of rationally thinking...when he saw Arzoo...oh there she is..let me start being insensitive and not help her because I want to stay away from her!! He would never have punished himself then! He would have taken out his anger on her! He hardly seemed to register her presence...from her POV if she had had time to think he udon have appeared heartless in that instant but since we know his situation he doesn't!
Yes, I think so too...he was not in a state to think, let alone act accordingly...he was NUMB! in a trance as you put it!
Arzoos problems are majorly caused by Nausheen herself...sad but true...h could she continue to be so weak and affected by sarfaraz that she causes issues again and again for herself and her children?
She still talks to him...pleads with him...difficult to feel sympathy honestly...even given the background and all..because she has a family on her side who don't blame her and are completely there for her!
She is one of those women who keep seeking validation through out their lives...sad but true...
I don't think Sahir loves his wife...I think it's more of a feeling of being stuck...she is in a state where he cannot move on...he is obliged to wait till he resolves matters with her...that's the feeling I get anyway...and till then he cannot permit himself to think of anyone else!
OMG yes, if this is anywhere close to Rebecca...it is impossible for him to be in love with her...
The precap hug...Arzoo thought he came for her...and again Sahir didn't seem to be fully there...he hugged her as one human would another for comfort...the human touch...Both took solace from each other...when he realises it would be time to push her away is what I feel!
True...but she wouldn't have hugged, for example, Zaki, like that...this trip has gotten them close...in completely unanticipated ways...You remember KKG hugging ASR...in the hospital? He doesn't hug her back...Sahhir at least goes that far...
Zeenat seems a mystery for now...wonder if she will come out of coma soon...before the SaAz story kicks off or Alvira will play her cards!
Episode continuity is an issue nevertheless...and for the first episode after the time change they could have shown a little less f all the negative side characters for sure!
It was villain/ vamp galore...today...but for new audience who is not so much in to the couples love story yet...it is probably a calculated move...My mom watches a serial named Doli Armani ki...and it is all about the unkind acts of the husband who is villain cum ML...
Hoping the story ahead makes sense!
