Chapter Six.

Sahir sighed. He was hoping to enjoy a silent drive into work before we was faced with the noise and flurry at work

But here was another story; whereas most people wouldn't dare to meet Sahir's gaze, Aarzoo was there discussing her life story with him.

The conversation began with her asking what she would be during her day at the office and then turned into what she had studied previously and what she was interested in and what she was hoping to so in the future and so on and so forth!

Sahir remained quiet during the whole conversation, hoping that by doing so, it would give her the hint that he wanted to left alone, but that didn't stop her. Instead it encouraged her to continue talking to herself!

It got to the point where her voice was really beginning to give Sahir a headache. She never took a break!

"Enough!" He exclaimed out of nowhere, causing her to jump before slowly turning to him.

"What is it?"

"Do you actually have an off button or do you just continue until you drive the next person insane?"

"What?" She asked, confused

"Be. Quiet" He told her sternly and she sat back in her seat. Sahir glanced at his phone quickly incase he got a call during her incessant rant. When he saw he hadn't, he sat back and turned to face the window.

"You could've said it nicely" she muttered under her breath, hoping that Sahir had not hearf her, but he had and he rolled his eyes before transporting himself back to his own thoughts.

All of a sudden the car came to an abrupt stop, causing both Sahir and Aarzoo to jump forward. Sahir put his hands out onto the headrest in front of him for support.

"What the hell are you doing!?" He yelled at the driver when he sat up properly.

"I...I-I'm sorry sir. But.."

"But what!?" He asked and saw the direction in which the driver was looking. There was a crowd gathering in front of their car. It looked like something had happened but Sahir was unable to see what was going on. "Joe" he signalled at his assistant who had already turned to face him and Joe nodded before getting out of the car to go and find out what was going on.

Sahir watched as Joe slowly made his way through the crowd. He couldn't take the waiting. He was getting impatient. He decided to get out of the car and see what was going on for himself.

Just as he got out of the car and closed his door behind him, Joe returned. "What is it?"

"Sir, there seems to be an accident. An old lady is lying in the middle of the road"

"What??" a voice exclaimed behind him before Sahir could reply. Sahir closed his eyes momentarily and sighed as Aarzoo approached them.

"Joe-" Sahir began, in order to give his assistant some instructions

"Well, why isn't anyone helping her?" Aarzoo piped in

"They've called an ambulance Sir" Joe addressed him. He knew better than to answer her instead of him. "But they said it'll take at least 15-20 minutes to get here"

"What!?" Aarzoo exclaimed. Sahir found himself folding his arms as she carried on. "Anything could happen by then. We have to do something!" She exclaimed

Sahir slowly turned to face her. "Can I speak?" He asked and she remained silent as he turned back to face Joe. "Call them up and tell them I said to get here ASAP"

"Yes Sir" Joe replied getting his phone out. to do as he was told. Sahir began making his way back to his car, Aarzoo followed him

"What about the woman? Shouldn't we go and see if she's okay?"

"The ambulance is on its way"

"But what if she's badly hurt?"

"There's plenty of people over there. Now, we're getting late. Let's go"

"I said let's go" He told her sternly.

"Sir" Joe approached him before he got into the car "I just spoke to them and they said the ambulance will be here within a few minutes. She'll be fine" Joe told Sahir who nodded in response before turning to Aarzoo as to give her the answer. He gave her a look and she stood there in silence.

"Shall we go now?" He asked sarcastically.

"Yes" She replied quietly before getting into the car and making their way to the office. They had work to do.
