Thanks Saba! Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, tell me about it. I wish the CVs would have shown Shark the way we expected to see him. But they've made his character a bit inconsistent. Hopefully the CVs will take a gander here and take some lessons! Who knows? 😛 <3

Chapter Two

Sahir sat back in his seat and rested his elbow resting on the arm of his chair, staring out into the window at the landscape in front of him. This had become habitual for him. He would pretty much spend most of his time in confinement. The more he could stay alone, the better he felt.

He looked up and saw his sister-in-law walk in, without knocking. Another one of his major pet peeves.

"What is it?" He asked, frustrated at the interruption of his time in solitary.

"Sorry Sahir, I just need you to check this"

"Have I got to check every piece of work that everyone does around here?? Is that what I'm here for?? I thought I'm running a Fashion House here!"

"Sahir-"

"No. Get someone else to check it. I haven't got time"

Well that was a complete lie. He had plenty of time. In fact, he had employeed so many people that he had given more than enough time to himself and his thoughts.

"I thought you might want to check it because it's Saiyaara's new contract. Remember?" She replied sharply

"Yes. I remember" he replied curtly. Of course he remembered. It was his business. He built it. He took the file from her hands abruptly and skimmed through it, not finding anything he needed to comment about. "It's fine. Submit it"

"Okay"

"Anything else?"

"Well..." She trailed off

"What??" He asked when she paused for a few seconds

"I just spoke to Ammi Jaan and she told me to inform you that she has a guest coming over this evening. Some friend's daughter or something" she replied, uninterested.

"Why didn't she just call me?"

"She said she didn't wanna disturb you" She rolled her eyes.

"Okay" He replied

He looked up a few seconds later and saw her sighing in frustration. "Was that all??"

"Yeah. That was it"

"You may leave then"

"Fine" she said and left.

He shook his head to himself. She was a character and a half. If it wasn't for his mother, he would never have Anam anywhere near his fashion house. But he kept quiet in front of his mother. She wanted his brother's wife to join the family company. So he had to put up with her.

Now who was this next person he had to put up with coming to invade his home? He was sure soon to find out.
