Sushpective: The moment of truth....or is it?

What a caricature! Even the teeth are fake! 🤢 I mean really ...? Who needs the Kurti aapa right now? Imagine my shift...was on my book "Gone Girl" with the sophisticated and sarcastic New Yorker Amy...and then I turn this on...and I see...this fake toothed woman called Kruti aapa...who is born evil..a cartoon really...and is only there to torment Aarzoo...Oh well...I guess some one other than Anam is needed to do these petty harakaten ...for the enchanting one to save the damsel...well whatever...

So we all waited to find out what will. Sahir CHOOSE? The Moment Of Truth...Will he jump at the chance to throw her out or will he WANT to keep her? Well ...stop the drum roll...it was neither...He said...he will respect his moms wishes and do what she wants...even though he personally does not like it...OK...may it was NOT nothing...may the important part to note here is that he personally doesn't like it...The character sketch continues...The harder the line is drawn...the more interesting it is to see it disappear...

Another revelation? He may be a hardliner...but he is very respectful to his mother ...her decisions...and even the evil looking nanny who has brought him up...he actually is quite polite to all of these people...what does that say about him? Perhaps not a bad boy after all...Just a traditionalist...?

Any ways...the Dargah scene was the best today...wish they had shown at least him spotting her...just like the first pool scene this one too seemed unfinished somehow...!

Loved the scene with Zaki...Shwetzee ...how come you didn't make a collage about that? He spoke up...quite well and quite sarcastically at the same time...throwing darts at Anam...Totally loved it!!!! Did I say Zaki looked quite handsome today!!😃

But the best was Aarzoo...refusing the handshake ...and just settling with a Shukriya...😃

Hi Sush ,

Thanks for opening a post . Plz check your PM 😃

I can just about imagine the shift from Gone Girl to Kurti Aapa 😆 I loved the book posting few quotes ...

"There's a difference between really loving someone and loving the idea of her."

Gillian Flynn , Gone Girl

"Love makes you want to be a better man. But maybe love, real love, also gives you permission to just be the man you are."

Gillian Flynn , Gone Girl

"People love talking, and I have never been a huge talker. I carry on an inner monologue, but the words often don't reach my lips."

Gillian Flynn , Gone Girl

Did the show really need another character when in few weeks most of them will not be seen anyways . Some things never change . I loved the dargah scene was tempted to make a collage then thought would look like a repeat from yesterday . Was definitely happy to see Zaki 😃

Will come back to add more thoughts ...Will be on a call in next ten min .

There was a contrast drawn today. It was between Arzoo's father and stepmother with Alvira and Zaki. On one hand Arzoo's father and step-mother are trying to kick them out of their out of their own house in gratification for their ego. On the other side Zaki, Alvira and to some extent even Saahir were fighting to keep Arzoo in the house. Zaki was right it was friendships that was proven to be a even stronger relationship than the one of blood she shares with her father as he couldn't really provide anything for her and isn't the least bit apologetic about it. Hence Arzoo's line to Alvira "Aap ne humare liye woh kiye hai jo hamare apne bhi nahi kar paye"

I am really starting to like Zaki as a character. After Arzoo's family it is him who really adds the light moments to the show. So I really don't want him to be left heart broken. I hope they introduce someone new for him eventually who he will fall for. Perhaps one of Arzoo's sisters will be a suitable match.

Coming to Saahir I like him too. He respects his elders like Alvira or Aapa sometimes regardless of whether their even right. He even softens up around his brother. He easily forgave him for ruining the fashion show. (IMO sometimes towards Arzoo he is even shown to be quite leniet, putting up with window seat nonsense, imli and phone abuse.) The only place where his stern side shows up is with work as he is adamant about his rules and unbending. He doesn't seem to mix emotion with work as he didn't soften up knowing his employee was a single mom whose son had a birthday. This was even more evident the day he burnt the factory down. Oh yeah and Joe too is scared of him. Lol!

Arzoo def takes after her Grandmother!

Great post! And very nice collages!

OMG that woman (I mean Amy) would have driven anyone nuts! And I know a couple like her...it's not even funny...!! Love the quotes...only about 1/3 rd way through so far...

As much as the leads stories interests me...the side characters in Gul's shows really are very one dimensional...apart from the leads...I only like Zaki and Dadi so far...Alvira could be interesting...lets see...

Lovely post red, and good point about the contrast! Zaki spoke quite eloquently today...took me by surprise!

Yes...Sahir does not seem to hold his anger...about things that Aarzoo has done wrong...Nice quality!

Beautiful collages and lovely post. I loved the way Sahir's character is shaping up. He may look like a heartless guy in the outlook but he is man with a heart of gold, and it'll come out on the open soon once he softens up with Arzoo. He has a very painful past which could be the reason why he always seems to be moody. But Arzoo's liveliness and her bold nature is gonna melt his stone heart very soon! 😳

I really liked zaki scene ... seehban is doing a good job and though in the mehndi scene i did find him creepy, he is starting to grow on me. I wonder what ehsan nausheen did? I feel he and azroo will be just friends though it may be misread by Sahir ... i don't think zaki will have a heart break not from arzoo at least.
Kurti apa is unbearable for me and i don't think her char was needed ... if she is for comic relief then i am sorry but she isn't even funny and why they had to give her fake teeth i don't know.

Sahir though respects kurti apa he was not at all interested in her politics ... when she went to his room and was blabbing about arzoo he kept working and looked less interested ... I feel Sahir is someone who knows everyone in the house ... like what goes inside of them ... probably even his mom ... yet he continues to respect all of them. Be it anam, alvira or now kurti apa. I don't think her character was needed and its unreal too, i mean in which house nanny acts like this?

Why is sahir the decision maker in house? or is he not they were just doing a voting?

Sahir is totally right in his stand of not mixing work and personal life ... and what i found weird was that only few moments ago he had said that and what alvira does? Sends arzoo to his room with soup ... and arzoo too agrees to go. Every person is different and Sahir does not insult anyone till you don't respect him or his decisions ... knowing that why bring it upon yourself?

P.S: Can kurti apa go back please? I hope she just came as a cockroach provider 🤔
