"I no longer believed in the idea of soul mates, or love at first sight. But I was beginning to believe that a very few times in your life, if you were lucky, you might meet someone who was exactly right for you. Not because he was perfect, or because you were, but because your combined flaws were arranged in a way that allowed two separate beings to hinge together."

SAC and ANK went through certain life altering circumstances very early in life. One chose darkness and the other one chose the light. Little did they know that one day they will complete each other, just like the dark clouds and the moon which make a beautiful team.

Shark has no remorse, he is an unapologetic destructor. What will be his Achilles heel?
The mother, the sibling or???

Zara is too ambitious and maybe self centered for her own good. She spells trouble in the future.
Nausheen and Alvira parted way on cordial terms. There has to be something else there. Before right before confession this story has to come out.

The stage has been set, the players have been identified, it will pick up pace.

The dark knight burnt down the factory, will the bright light and the embers of the fire provide light for him? Yes! The flames will create havoc in his dark and frigid life.

Factory Ki aag ... mohabbat ke sholon main tabdeel ho jayegi... I know after a long long time. <3

Their mugs have been exchanged ... Next stop their hearts?

It will be a beautiful journey.
He needs her to drive out the darkness.

P.s. If I had a penny for every time the words choti sheher were mentioned In Humsafars I might save For a 75 lakes car ...

I liked the episode, nothing out of the world but still ...
And HC will redefine darkness and SP complements him beautifully.

waiting for the next episode...

harshad chopda as sahir is breath-taking I can't believe this guy was my prem once or my onu or Raghav...I can't get over that factory scene man...see I don't appreciate destruction but sahir his cold eyes...his body language..the way he turned back to give a last glance ...the pained satisfaction all over his face ..sigh who said that you need dialogues to act...this guy can tear you with his eyes

Hi Amber

I actually like today's episode

1. Even though the moon talk was 'filmy' but very much Gul-like. The contrasting personalities vis a vis the moon came out nicely. The exchange of cups and drinks was symbolic as were the colors of the cups. Gul and her writers love that, don't they?

2. I like Sahir's mom. She seems to be level headed yet a good business woman. It'd be interesting to see if she helps of creates issues between Sahir and Arzoo.

3. I'm glad Zaara didn't win. She is quite a self centered and 'hawa mien udhne' waali girl. This was a much needed jolt for her.

4. Even though Sahir is a jerk, his expressions when the factory burnt were intense and spot on. HC is good in those intense scenes.

hello
first things first...i'm loving ur analysis😊
the blasting scene just made my day...the intensity required to emote this scene ...hc was bang on!
i feel alvira inviting aarzoo to mumbai means a perfect setting for aarzoo to say in sahir's house
and the moon talk was different...reason...it was a beautiful...infact intelligent way to bring out the contrasts in the characters of SAC & ANK
right from the way they both sat...one in a firm...disciplined manner...the other in a more relaxed one...till the point where they both see the same moon in totally different aspects

Hola...
so yeah I again watched only bits and pieces of the episode since I am not finding it all the gripping yet.

Moon talk was expected...it had to happen. But why the cup exchange? Kuch bhi tha.

Zara has trouble written all over her. Yet it was a relief of sorts to see her smile and cheer Arzoo when she won even though she did not smile for the girl who had wore the dress.

The fire scene like every other time she has used the fire sequence looked very fake. You would think after all the experience she has gained, she would figure out a way to make it more realistic.

@Bheegi - nice to see u here.

I liked the mug exchange scene it was something new for me atleast ... i like how the parallels are being drawn in the show ... on one hand arzo getting what she dreamed off ... on the other Sahir finishing off what he came to do ... for one it was building, building her future ... for the other its destruction not just of factory but also his life ... one is extremely happy ... other far from being happy

The moon scene hints at a lost love may be? hat khobsorat chehrey ke peechey ... or it can be a step mom who trapped and took his father away? 🤔 Will have to wait and watch. Those red eyes were the first reflection into his pain ... but how quickly he overcame that and went back to being the hard rock

And precap chand covered with badal and if badal moves they go to Mumbai is another symbolism ... Sahir is the chand who is covered with black clouds ... and arzoo is going to remove that black cloud from his life and turn him back into the beautiful moon

In fact his own dialogue about every beautiful face having a double side applies to him...the hard, ruthless fashion moghul is the side he shows to the word, it hides the side he so desperately wants to deny. It's almost like this persona he dons is a punishment for being naive and trusting in the past -- at every stage he punishes himself: he forces burnt toast down his throat, he denies himself the little pleasures, yet the moon with it's "double face" and "darkness" compels him to become poetic and even, against his will, move him to tears...THAT is the side of him he wants to punish. Because soon after, even though he has the option of staying away and not getting caught...he punishes himself by forcing himself to watch the destruction he had asked for.

He is the man with the mask...he is the man who stays in darkness, and it is Aarzoo who will draw out the hidden light in him 😊

I did not see HC's previous work. I am impressed with his Sahir. He looks the part and acts the part with conviction. GK never goes wrong with the casting. Slowly slowly we will fall in love with ArSa also.
We will laugh with them, cry with them. It will be a beautiful journey indeed.
Romance, angst is 4lions' forte. They are the best.

Bheegi Ji, 🤗
Real life main Na sahi yahin sahi. Thoda filmi is always good. Opposites attract, yeh to time tested formula hai. Yes the exchange of cups will have a meaning. He is angry, red, burning and she will be the sheetalta, thandak of his life. She will take away the pain of his life and he will be at peace.

I think, the class difference will come into play. Maybe.
Zara spells trouble, she is all about ME.
Yes, after the other three this one will also make Sahir a household name.

I hope that the backstory has some weight and it's worth waiting for.
