Ok the title is a little misleading, since he didn't get high, but other people are getting high from a type of weed (marijuana) being named after him.
According to the NY Daily News, Tom Cruise's lawyers are not happy about the fact that there is a type of medical marijuana being marketed as "Tom Cruise Purple."The bud is being sold by licensed cannabis clubs in Northern California, and comes in vials featuring a picture of Tom laughing hysterically. Tom, as you know, is a Scientologist, and is opposed to the use of psychotropic drugs.
But, those who are puffing it have no complaints. One smoked up client said, "I heard it's the kind of pot that makes you hallucinate."
