HELP

As the story goes...the Male lead is a brat is sent to a school by his family to correct his ways of life. There he has a very hard time but eventually adjusts. He falls in love with his classmate/schoolmate. The girl eventually dies and he makes a house in her memeory with 100 windows.

I have watched this movie many times as a teenager but can't seem to remember the name. Please help me with this
