Dead or Alive releasing soon...
The popular video game 'Dead or Alive'
has been brought to life as an original live action film
by director Cory Yuen
(The Transporter, action director of X-Men,
and martial art choreographer of Lethal Weapon 4).
Film veterans will remember Yuen
as the stunt double for the martial arts icon, Bruce Lee.

and 'Enter the Dragon',
with a fair share of thrills that the video game
used to offer its six million buyers.
Five beautiful women vie for the $10 million purse money
given away by the eccentric Dr Victor Donovan,
for the ''by invitation only'' dead or alive tournament.
Jaime Pressly (of 'Torque', 'Not Another Teen' Movie fame),
Holly Valance (What A Girl Wants),
Devon Aoki ('Sin City', '2 Fast 2 Furious'),
Collin Chou ('Matrix Reloaded', 'Matrix Revolutions' ),
Kane Kosugi ('Who Am I?', 'Godzilla Final Wars'),
and Natassia Malthe ('Elektra')
play the five contenders.
As the world's best fighters land on the remote Doatec Island,
Dr Donovan and his computer wiz 'Man Friday'
Weatherby draw up lots matching the fighters
based on an innovative computer study.
The games begin and it is not long before
something evil begins to stalk the island.
The contestants have to work together
to get out of the island alive.
Shot entirely on location in China at
the Zhejiang Hengdian World Studios and
the naturally lush landscape of Yuzi Paradise
in Guilin (the first time a Western film has
been shot here), the film is set to release in
Tamil Nadu by the third week of December.
It won an official non-show selection at the 7th Annual Golden
Trailer Awards. Dead or Alive is presented by
Superfine Films (India) in association with
Constantin Film.
It is an Impact Pictures production.
