'Survivor' Sentencing Delay

By WENN| Friday, April 21, 2006

HOLLYWOOD - Original Survivor winner Richard Hatch's sentencing in his tax-evasion case has been delayed until May 16.
The 45-year-old was found guilty in January of failing to pay taxes on his $1 million Survivor prize and other income.

Hatch has been jailed in Plymouth, Massachusetts, since his conviction and requested he be put in protective custody shortly after he was detained because of his celebrity status.

He faces a maximum sentence of up to 13 years in prison if convicted.
