Reese Witherspoon is developing the dramatic thriller "The Reckoning" at Paramount Pictures, through her production company Type A Films. The story follows a photo journalist who arrives in Cambodia to cover the U.S. Military search for the remains of an american pilot shot down during the Vietnam War.
Ted Tally, who wrote "Red Dragon" and "Silence of the Lambs" wrote the screenplay which is being sent out to directors. Witherspoon will Produce the film along with her partner Jennifer Simpson. More than likely, this film will serve as a starring vehicle for Witherspoon.
