If I tried to make a VM on all the facets of womanhood Rati portrays playing Indira's character, I am afraid I , or any VM maker for that matter, wouldn't be able to do justice to it. Because they are all incredible identities in their own right and attempting to justify all of them in one VM would be foolish. I had to make a choice. And so I did. I picked the most beautiful women out of them all. Indira Sharma ... the Mother.
Kehte hai ke jab khuda kisi aurat ko maa banata hai, toh uss mein ITNI himmat de deta hai ke woh uss bache ke khushi ke wastey duniya jahaan se ladh jati hai. That woman and her struggle to provide for her children, giving them the best of what she can salvage in the worst of times , is something only a mother can attempt to do. Its both fascinating and fearsome how ONE woman could contain SO much love and strength within her at the same time But Indira Sharma is even one step ahead . Woh toh yeh sab maa banne ke BOHOT pahle se karti aayi hai. kabhi apne bhai ka beta Ishaan ke liye toh kabhi bhatiji Seher ke liye. Toh kabhi nalayak bhai ke liye toh kabhi playful pati ke liye. So what happens ... when she gives birth to a child ? Kehte hai abhi kalyug hai, Bhai bhai pe bharosa nahin kar sakta ! Lekin aaj tak aisa koi cynic paida nahin hua jo eik maa ke pyaar pe shakk kare. So this is my humble attempt , to pay homage to the most beautiful embodiment of Indira , the mother in her :)
