Today's was a 'miraculous' epi. Things moved really fast. Evidence against Savita was screened on a towel like in one of the detergent ads. Rishi realizes, Guruma lets her guard down and admits that she is as ticklish as Sunaina.
But first, Zara is in lock up and interrogation begins with splashing water. Zara uses the required bit of rhetoric. Says Jai Hind and also that she is innocent. Rudra, better known as Vanraj, tries to look menacing.
In the meantime, realization dawns on Rishi. This realization was helped on by a ransom note pieced together by letters cut out from that day's newspaper. Bad piece of work, that. Amateurish. Even I (who is not a regular kidnapper and criminal) know that its a foolish thing to do to leave the very newspaper that was used for the deed lying around. But anyway, this leads to the highpoint of the epi.
High point: Sunaina Guruma shows the evidence on a towel drying on the clothesline (I made that up...please forgive the inattention to detail). That becomes the 70 mm screen on which Savita's wrong is exposed. Wonder how many cameras her trishul has. The crime was captured from many angles. First, Guruma's video shows only Savita's feet. Then, she slowly progresses to the body above the feet sashaying in with the piece of paper. The camera then moves to her 'bangled' hands. The very hands which she uses to plant the sheet of the paper on which she has pasted the ransom inside the morning newspaper. Finally, in slow motion, Guruma's video shows Savita's face. Sharma Family shocked. Munna begins mourning the bewafai of all his wives. Here, Sunaina becomes emotional.
Rishi tries to catch Savita. Savita locks herself in a room and escapes Rishi's wrath by climbing out a window 😲 Exactly one bar was bent and this makes me wonder how thin and how strong Savita is. She did that in the three minutes that it took Rishi to break the door. And she must be thinner than Indu to be able to squeeze through a six inch space. (Indu!! This was an Indu-less epi, just realized.)
Oh yes, they put in a line for Meher who duly makes Rishi feel guilty for suspecting Zara. They need this scene to give Inder a chance to hug Meher.
Rishi bails Zara out and apologizes for wronging her. Zara forgives, reclaims her right as a police officer and says she wants to investigate in her own way. HD really makes things look simple and easy. No protocol, no authority, no nothing. Anyway, Zara aur Rishi kasam khaate hain ki Indira ko paataal se bhi dhoondh kar layenge.
Symbolic because Lahorewali seems to be in some sort of basement with three dolls for company. She was shown to us today. First, she was being fed. Then, towards the end of the epi, she is shown being slapped by Savita. I am convinced that The Slap is the HD USP. Nothing has been used more than The Slap. Whoever walks into a scene in HD cannot leave it without either being slapped or slapping.
Precap shows Savita being clubbed on the head by someone. Clubber will be revealed tomorrow.
