Wow in one post a simple but intelligent question, as to gender bias is prevalent in this show & if indira would garner the same praise if she was a man. That post was used by many to bash rishi. Now this topic was made, and is directly bashing rishi!
Cuz you know people figured that hey, we can't directy bash sumit on the forum anymore, so lets continue to insult & bash rishi and rile up the fans. Bc they get offended if anyone constructively criticizes indira, but feel mocking & insulting rishi is a birthright.

@tm-Seriously, do you think hd is a show that has even 1% reality left in it? A show that one can't even discuss anymore bc it's at that extent of haywire. But pinpointing & mocking rishi, is definitely what you all enjoy. Too bad, that even though the cvs butchered rishi, they still in the past, did make the character rishi a very good & noble character in many ways.

Its because the writers of hd think that to show a woman strong, that all male characters must be degraded! Sick. Sad part is that this forum has always bashed rishi & pinpointed every teeny thing for him (like in double standards topic), and never appreciated any sacrifice or kind deed he did. When he left his entire family, a lavish, wealthy, & comfort lifestyle for indira. He wholeheartedly left his blood relations, and his inheritance, for his love. He always completely supported her and sacrificed for her. When he went in court as mandir's lawyer, against his brother. because the creatives of this show have a backwards belief that to show the female sex as strong, independent, and all, that they must portray the male sex as the stark opposite. only post the rape case, did they start doing this, and they completely destroyed rishis character, only redeeming him by showing him in his lawyer attire a few times, so we will understand he's working as a lawyer. But even though now Rishi's character has been butchered, doesn't mean that we blindly forget all his character had done that was pure good & noteworthy.
But guess im forgetting that People just want a chance to point fingers & laugh & mock at a character bc of an obvious reason behind who's playing that character.
No one can deny that there has alway been a bias against him.
What they're portraying is, sexism against males. Instead of showing gender equality & an actual progression in the lives of the leads, they instead butchered everything.

very well said sim 👏
due to the biasness towards one character people find ways to bash rishi, who did a lot for indira, i laugh on posts where SF and indira's bondings are appreciated but when it comes on what rishi did for indira, instead of appreciation they reward him with foul words as i see being used in this post

why cant a show ever show balance between make and female characters its never ever done

well how else can the trps audience consisting of housewife with a tissue box next to them even think of a show with equals never!

has there ever been a show where both the men and women are into business are business rivals maybe never because in this industry its either one that has to be the higher up one
one upmanship a sad truth its just that hitler didi has started this with women a very hatke show indeed!

Crystal, exactly! Agreed with all your posts here.
It's this horrible perception the writers of hd and some other shows have, that one character must be degraded to put the other character in a Better light. Equality, specifically gender equality never fully existed and in this show they decided to go the reverse route, and be sexist for males!
Bravo this is asli progression, ladies & gents 🤣 🤣

Yes exactly, I concur!! very very hatke 🤣

Thanks Pari, loved your posts in the double standards thread.
Yes that's how the biased-ness shows! No matter how horrible any other character is in general and had been to indira, those bonds are appreciated and drooled upon. But not what rishi did for indira. And to make it worse, post the rape case, the cv's decided to do reverse sexism and butchered rishi to a big extent, thus giving more leeway for rishi haters. The same ones who bashed rishi even hen he was sacrificing and a really good character
And the derogatory language & outright ridiculing as mockery here sadly was actually just a trailer of the entire pic.

I dont know what exactly the topic of discussion is. I just read a few replies here about Rishi and his jugadupan! I dont think the intention was to dumb down Indira or glorify Rishi in anyway(Thats something we fans perceived from the story due to the rocky execution). The intention was not to show Rishi as a hero in people's eyes. As far as the story goes it was Rishi's own way to emerge as Indira's Knight in Shining Armour. He wanted to make her life a little bit easy. This was far before he relaized he was hopelessly in love with her. Maybe, maybe Indira could have gone all the way without Rishi's help but Rishi's eagerness to help and emerging as the saviour at the right moment was an effort(by the cvs) to valorize his love for this woman which managed to bring a huge change in him. Would spoilt brat Ricky help Indira out? Maybe not. Ricky completed his transformation into Rishi when he met Indira. He wanted to be a better man and found the courage to do many a things. There is a sense of completion in their relationship. Both contributed in their own ways to make their relationship work. The cvs did not want to create an imbalance. Indira's helplessness at moments counteracted by Rishi's jugadupan was a necessity. Not to glorify the man and his actions but to show what lengths Rishi was going to travel to prove his love for her. 😊 It does make Rishi endearing to me. A one woman man ready to help and protect his woman(the woman might not need the help) is quite a flattering gesture. No wonder Indira fell for him. I think that was one of the main reasons behind Inshi coming closer anyway.

I dont know if I made in sense. 😆
