I just have few things to say about this show.
- I blame both Rishi and Swetha for Indu not calling him papa. Rishi should remember that even though Indira is the love of his life, she gave him a daughter and she would never be pleased knowing the way she refers to her father. Nor would she be pleased to know that he has ignored her for her entire life. It is not Indu's fault that Indira died and he should be cherishing this precious gift that she left him. If he is too immature to be a father to Indu then he should have just jumped into her burning pyre with her. Or become a sage on some mountain.
- As for Swetha, she knew that Rishi never loved her. She could have refused to be the surrogate or she could have given birth to Indu and then leave. Instead she chose to marry a man knowing fully well that he has no feelings for her. Maybe, she expected that he would get over Indira eventually and fall in love with her. But after realising that it was not happening, she should have divorced him and tried to move on with her life. But instead she is trying to hold on to that part of him {Indu} with all her might.
- Thirdly, shit happens. Parents die and leave their kids. Sometimes they have no one to take care of them and some have grandparents and other relatives to take care of them. Indu has a father and grandparents, uncle, aunt, etc. So this whole thing about hiding the fact that Swetha is not her mom is BS. She never knew Indira. Just explain to her that her mother died from a brain tumor and Swetha has been taking care of her. I see no problem with that. At least she knows that Indira did not choose to leave her. She had no choice whereas Seher's mother willingly abandoned her!!!!
