Shweta is a respectful character? In which universe is being an opportunist considered respectful? Shweta's character agreed to marry Rishi knowing full well that he did not want this marriage. She could have easily said no. Her character was shown to be pining for Rishi's attention while he attended to his wife who was in a coma at the time! I think the worst thing she has done is keeping Indira's identity hidden from Indu and pretending like Indira did not even exisit- it is actually quite disrespectful to Indira and her memories. I understand that Indu is a child but sharing some simple facts about her biological mother with her would be the right thing to do.
Obviously a lot of these things have been shown to heighten the drama (the writers don't seem to have any fresh ideas), but this is how her character has been shown and in my view her actions have not been very respectable.
