CHAPTER – 10

Till the time,Sameer was in abroad,everyday he used to talk to Indira after the dinner.Almost the whole of the night they used to chat.While returning,he purchased gifts for everyone.He also purchased something for Indira but decided to give it on their first night.After his return,he took leave from his office as ordered by his mother and stayed in home till all the marriage rituals are over.All the pre-marriage rituals are over successfully.During the preparations of the marriage,Indira and Sameer had to face a lot of leg pulling.At last the most auspicious day had arrived.The day of their marriage had arrived.

Sameer and his family reached the venue at the appropriate time.The SF welcomed them.Sameer sat in the mandap and performed the rituals.After that,Indira arrived in the mandap and all were just staring at her.Sameer had a smile on his face complementing her beauty.Indira sat beside him and completed the rituals.Sameer and Indira then took the marital vows and were declared as husband and wife.After the marriage when they were sitting,Sunaina said,"Arey arey daamaadji ab to hamaari Indira officially aapki ho gayi hai.Aap yaha bina ticket ke andar ghus to gaye par iska matlab ye nehi hai ke hum bina ticket ke aapko yahase hamaari Indira ko le jaane denge."Priya said,"Main yaha kisiko bhi apne bhaiya ko yu muft mein lutne nehi dungi."These kind of sweet and sour fightings continued all the time.But Sameer was a total dharmatma kind of person,so he gave more than they demanded and said,"Aap log is nek ke badle mujhe jo de rahe hai,unke muqaable ye kuch bhi nehi hai."Priya and all of Sameer's relatives were surprised but his parents understood his emotions.At last the time of Indira's bidaai arrived.There was a huge emotional scene between Indira and her family.The SF pleaded the DF for taking care of Indira and also requested to forgive her in case of any mistake.Indira was then sent off to her in-laws in tears.

Indira was given a grand welcome in DM.After all the preliminary rituals,Indira was sent inside Sameer's room and after a lot of bribing,finally Sameer was allowed to enter inside.On entering inside,Sameer moved towards the bed where Indira was waiting for him.He sat beside her slowly.As soon as Indira heard his footsteps,her heart started bumping with excitement.Sameer slowly forwarded his hands to remove the veil from her face.She closed her eyes out of an unknown fear.When Sameer unveiled her,his breath was caught in his throat.He didn't get proper time to see her and admire her beauty.Now it was the time,it was the time only for them,it was the time only for love,it was the time to promise to each other for being together and it was the time to accept the new relation whole heartedly,but still there was something which was binding them from accepting each other.Sameer was sitting confusingly.Indira thought Sameer might be having some problem.She asked,"Koi pareshaani hai kya?"He replied,"Nehi."He said in his mind,"Main to inse pyar karta hu par inke dil mein kya hai ye jaane bina hume apne rishtey ki shuruwaat nehi karni chahiye."He said,"Mujhe aapse ek baat kehni thi."She replied,"Ha kahiye na."He said,"Aap to jaanti hi hai ke humne shaadi ke liye razamandi apne parivaar ke dabaav mein aakar di hai par isse pehle ke hum apne rishte mein aagey bare,main ye chahta tha ke hum ek dusre ko achche se jaanle,ek dusre ko pura waqt de.Aap samajh rahi hai na…"Indira smiled and said,"Ji ha main samajh rahi hu.Sach kahu to yehi khayaal mere dil mein bhi aaya tha par pata nehi aapko kaisa lagta isliye bataane ki himmat nehi ho rahi thi.Par aaj aapne phir se mere dil ki baat keh di."Sameer gave a sigh of relief and said,"Thank you so much Indiraji."Indira smiled and said,"Isme thank you kehne ki koi zarurat nehi hai.Har pati patni ko sabse pehle achche dost banne chahiye."She got up from her bed to change.

Next morning,it was her first kitchen ritual,Indira made a sweet dish.Sameer became a bit late to reach the dining table.Aniruddh asked,"Kya baat hai beta itna late ho gaya aaj?"Priya interrupted in the middle and said,"Kya dad aap bhi na?Ab kal hi to shaadi hui hai pata nehi raat ko sone ka mauka mila bhi hai ya nehi.Ab aise mein der to ho hi jaati hai.Hai na bhaiya?"Sameer,instead of replying her,said to Aniruddh,"Dad,aapko yaad hai jo humne ek company ke saath collaboration mein ek US based company ka ek project sambhaala tha jiske MD ke saath meri bohot achchi dosti hui hai.Vo usdin mujhe bata raha tha ke usey na hamaari Priya bari pasand hai,agar aap log permission de to main baat aagey bara sakta hu vaise bhi aajkal Priya ki zabaan kuch zyaada hi lambi hoti ja rahi hai,sasuraal jaayegi to apne aukaad mein rahegi."Priya was gradually getting angry.At last she shouted,"Mom dekho na bhaiya kya keh rahe hai."Simi slapped on her back and said,"To tu bhi to kuch kam nehi hai.Tuney Sameer ki taang khichi,usne teri."Priya made a face.Indira felt sorry for her,so she said,"Priya tum fikar mat karo.Main hu na abse main hamesha tumhaara side lungi."Payal said,"Aap bhi kuch dino baad bhaiya ke side mein chali jaayengi."Indira said,"Nehi nehi I promise."Simi said,"Choro na Indira ye to in dono ka roz ka kissa hai,tum Sameer ko mithai khilaao."Indira served Sameer the sweet dish.He gave a blushing smile and tasted it.After that,it came automatically out of his mouth,"Mmm mazaa aa gaya!Ye sheera ek banaati hai meri daad aur aaj ye jis kisine bhi banaya hai jee kar raha hai uska haath chum lu."Priya immediately forwarded Indira's hand and said,"To karo!"Indira was hell embarrassed and Sameer was totally awkward.Others were smiling.He asked,"Ye aapne banaaya?"Indira blushed.He said,"Bohot achchi bani hai."Priya said,"Ye kya abhi to keh rahe the ke haath chumne ka dil kar raha hai.To ab kya hua?"Sameer grinned,"Har baat par muh na kholne se tera khana hajam nehi hota hai kya?"Aniruddh said,"Ab bohot ho gaya larna jhagarna jaldi jaldi naashta khatam karo kaam par jaana hai."Everyone quickly finished up their breakfast.

While Sameer was in the washroom.Indira took out his shirt,suit,wallet,handkerchief,mobile everything.When Sameer returned,he found everything ready.He looked at Indira and asked,"Ye sab aapne…I mean aapne itni taklif kyu uthaayi?"Indira said,"Nehi aisi koi baat nehi hai.Kyu aapko achcha nehi laga?"Sameer said,"Nehi actually bohot saalo se kisine ye sab nehi kiya na.Isliye."Indira blushed,"Ab to aapko…aise bohot saare cheezo ki aadat daalni paregi."Sameer felt very happy from inside and said,"Mujhe khushi hogi."Indira blushed again.Sameer came near to her and stood by her back and asked,"Aapne kuch kaha nehi?"She asked,"Kis baare mein?"He said,"Aapko yaad hai jab aap pehli baar hamaare ghar aayi thi tab aapne kaha tha ke aapko waha khidki ke paas ek sunflower aur ek gulaab ka paudha,daewaazein ke paas ek jhumar aur table mein ganeshji ki murti chahiye.Dekhiye maine aapke kahe mutaabik sab kuch kiya hai."Indira actually didn't get time to look properly into her bedroom.She was very happy or to say was very mesmerized to find Sameer did actually accept her request.She looked with very thankful eyes and said,"Aapne sach mein ye sab…"Sameer said,"Aapke liye nehi…hamaare liye kiya."She stared at him for sometime and then said,"Thank you."He replied,"Welcome par mujhe iske badle aapse bhi kuch chahiye."She confusingly asked,"Kya?"He replied,"Mere office jaane se pehle har roz bilkul usi sunflower ke tarah ek sunny aur bright smile aapko deni paregi."Indira blushed and left their bedroom.

Priya asked Sameer to leave her to college before going to office.Sameer though agreed but in mind he was irritated as he wanted a light pre-office romance with Indira.Priya was continuously saying,"Bhaiya chalo mujhe late ho raha hai."Sameer was only waiting for Indira to bid her bye.At last,when Indira didn't come,he left.Indira,at that time was helping Simi in her work but all her attention was towards Sameer and she too wanted to say him bye.Simi could easily understand her feelings.She said,"Ye sab kaam hota rahega Indira abhi jaao Sameer office ke liye nikalnewaala hi hoga,jaakar dekho usko kuch chahiye hai ya nehi."Indira nodded her head and left.

Sameer was just about to enter his car,when he saw Indira was coming.Priya was waiting inside the car.Indira came to him and said,"Aap pohochne ke baad aur waapas lautne se pehle mujhe ek phone kar dijiyega varna mujhe thori tension rahegi."Sameer replied,"Ok main kar dunga."Indira said,"Ok…bye."He again nodded his head.He opened the door of his car,but just when he was about to enter,suddenly he turned towards Indira and said,"Arey dekhiye daadi aa rahi hai."She turned to look at the door and in that moment,Sameer kissed on her cheeks and whispered,"Ye sheera ke liye."Indira was too shocked to react.She just touched her cheeks and stared at Sameer with wide expression and open mouth.But he too didn't stop for her to react and got inside his car and drove on his way.Indira didn't even wave his hands,but as soon as he left,she blushed and smiled broadly touching her cheeks.
