Yah Rati and the HD team did such a wonderful job setting Indira/HD apart from the rest that it generated so much buzz in the beginning. But the cvs decided to deviate from the main premise of the story to provide importance to other things and downplaying Indira who was supposed to be the usp of the show and we were promised something different. Then it whirlwinded downwards and now looks like a melodrama with Indira on the bed. Indira is such a strong character and was shown to be a mature individual. But the cvs could not hold onto this. We are very well aware of Rati's acting prowess and her popularity and the buzz she can easily generate if her character given that liberty. News like this should have been rampant. I still remember a month into HD two print adds(company I wont mention) had come out with girls dressed exactly like Indira. HD is the only zee serial whose name comes up in the SRK dist tv commercial.

This serial could have peaked if the main idea was kept intact which was sold out to give into a storyline which did not make HD any different from the rest except an angry hardcore stubborn protagonist. Even Indira's slap of justice became the slap she landed on waton pleasure. Rati was right taking up this role, because any actress looking for a strong female character and a chance to deliver would be flattered to enact such a role(like Kritika) but the cvs, ph and the channel gave into the number game pressure.

I feel like Rati inspired alot of people with her independence and attitude... i am very happy for the recognition Rati is getting and due to her Indira became famous 👍🏼
