Kowturk - loved your point about simple story is the hardest

I really don't know what happened after the rape track. The "forced down your throat" Inshi moments were terrible. Something that should have been utterly precious was treated as trash.

There could have been so much story to be told in Rishi growing up and coming to terms with his own family trauma, now that he is somewhat free of Vidith guilt. Instead of being an appendage to Indira, being his own man, who nonetheless loves her completely and unconditionally.

Indira could have shown to realize the value of Rishi, why she loves him, does she have faith in Rishi etc. Most importantly can she reciprocate Rishi's feelings and support him in his troubles as he supports her?

Then there is Inder - why the abrupt 180 turn by him? Why did he change etc.

It is as is there is a new team of CVs who want to abruptly close the chapter on past 5/6 months and start a new story.

I personally don't even like the new Indira persona. It seems artificial. I have ranted before

That's the point. There's tons to explore...in each of them. I keep coming back to the word 'infantile' because the earlier Sameer track and the current murder track seem just that. I've said this earlier in another thread...this show is now spoofing itself. it's making a mockery of the realism that it was loved for. And all this, under the misguided notion that this is what audiences like and want to watch!

@LoveKriyansh: beg to differ. The post was not a display of disloyalty. It was pain expressed at ruination.

The show has let the actors down considerably. They are a fine lot. And this is not just about Sumit or Rati. Rituraj, Sejal Shah, Sandeep, and the guy playing Radhey are equally deserving of compliments. They are all sewing together the gaps in a ruptured script and basically doing their best.

👍🏼
Exactly! HD CVs are blessed with such a bunch of fine actors. Like I said earlier on they are all doing their best but the writers are committing grave injustice with them. They can only make-do with what they are given.

"Haan...main rone walon mein se bhi nahin hoon"...a powerful line that presents the core of this strong protagonist. Then came Rishi, lovable and fun-loving. The original plot was to show how Indira changes from being a tough Hitler who is bogged down with the pressures of making ends meet to a girl who learns to smile. Because of this one person who understands and cares for her and shows her how important it is to smile at the little things that happen in a day. I am going to make a point to say this here: I am one of those who started watching this show for Rishi's character. It's always interesting to see how opposites interact. How they influence each other. In the promos, Indira was established as khadoos. It was Rishi who was a mystery. And he proved to be a beautiful character. Slowly, Sumit's portrayal of Rishi took on grew on me and the shades he provided to the character are astounding. Truly.

I used to wait for their interactions and their initial moments were lovely. They would manage to convey tons without uttering a single word. Beautiful. To me, this is story enough. The nuances , untold emotions, unspoken sentiments. And not just with a romantic angle.

👏
Well said. You've summed up Rishi so beautifully here. I can't add anything more.

I also fell in love with Inshi's interaction, the subtle moments, the things that were unsaid and those moments of trust and sheer belief in one another. I just feel that CVs have lost their touch or for some reason, have forgotten what Inshi are all about- sweet, simple, subtle romance.

And agreed, the shades that Sumit brought to his character were commendable because he brought variety to a very mysterious and complex character. Sadly the writers have not allowed this amazing character to develop.

You said a lot of things and I could highlight many points, but will leave it here for now 😆

Thanks, Sanam.

@red: Hope you're right and they get back in touch soon...would love to see glimpses of the old HD.
