Sometimes I feel that Sumit haters's constant Mrunal "jaap" is doing a great disservice to Mrunal. It is turning some folks against Mrunal as a defensive reaction to constant Sumit / Rishi criticism.

Mrunal does good acting. He is playing a rich, spolit, psychopath. In some scenes he nails it and in some is totally blank. But the constant gripe against Sumit, his acting, his appearance etc leads someone like me to pay more attention to Mrunal, not with the intention to enjoy his acting, but with the intent to see "is mein kya hai jo Sumit mein nahi". In the course, I become more critical of his acting, less tolerant of his flaws, when there is no rational reason to do so, other than a visceral reaction against all the anti-Sumit gripe.

i used to question why sameer was ever brought into this show and now, more than ever, im upset at the cv's for bringing this character in

and is it necessary for almost all shows to show someone getting raped?...stop going the typical way writers!

not that my viewership counts but the only reason I've stuck by this show is rati and also because it has been entertaining up until the intro of sameer and simi and the like...the writers are becoming more and more predictable by the day

@ the topic maker: as much as I love ArTi, ever since the character of Sameer went from grey to negative, I've been so thankful Arjun didn't do this show...would've hated hating his character

Rishi is one of the most flawed characters in this show. Infact all of this is just been done to glorify Indira's mahanta and struggles. (Nothing wrong in that she is the titular character).
Everything just boils down to how much Indira has to suffer ,nowhere is Rishi being shown as some kind of superhero. They ruined every single character in HD right from Munna, Mandira, Sameer, Sunaina, Kutumb and to an extent Rishi as well just so that Indira can "suffer" more. Even Inder who was turning positive suddenly turned negative just to add more grief in her life😆. What they show in HD these days is utter nonsense. Which brother will think about property when his sister has been kidnapped and in danger? Which father will think about saving the house first instead of saving your daughter? Which Bhabhi will think about food when her sister in law is in danger?👎🏼
They would have completely assassinated Rishi too had there not been some fan support for Rishi/Sumit.
All this just to prop Indira and her never ending struggles. Its high time that CVs stop the negativity and show Indira enjoying her life for a change.

as expected...the replies...
ya even i wish mrunal to leave now...it's high time...he deserve better than playing a monster...after rati ...its just mrunal whom i actually liked .( he is blessed )...ofcourse all the side char in hd are good actors too...from sandeep to the person who plays radhe...

but sameer indira were too good whenever they were in one frame...they just stole the show...their first interview even was too cute...mrunal did a very convincing role...from day 1...i never had any problems with his acting...he is indeed a great actor and the proof is even after playing a negative char...he has fans...

if Sameer indira would have been a couple...the show would have reached a completely different level but that was not in our luck...
this i definitely know that when sam entered ...at the time cvs mind wasn't clear of making him as a villain...they just played safe...because the role was offered to arjun bijlani and the motive was to again trps on arti chemistry...

and for me the whole story is just about indira...and i never found rishi mahaan even...i found him a normal person who has some goods and bads in him...
and about sumit...he is a hard working actor...he did improve from the starting of the show to today ...but he needs to improve more...

Yes...i agree that he:

sent goons to Indiras house to scare them away...

wanted to buy indira for 50 cr...

Repeatedly tried to steal his brother's love for the sake of property...

used his mother to out rishi's identity...

always getting handsy with Indira...

breaking up his brother's marriage and hitting him like an animal..

putting a helpless guy in wheelchair

having one night stand with his love's sister..

and ultimately assaulting her...

DAMN !!!!...ITS A PRETTY LONG LIST...I SHOULD'VE KNOWN HE IS "THE VILLIAN"...ha?

"Its really sad people drew the line at rape" and the rest would have been ok if they turn him into positive?????

no one drew the line after rape...we are saying this from way before...we dint want him negative...we said his char got ruined...we never defended him for his wrong acts...the pehli harkat which changed our views was molesting indira...

he introduced as parallel lead if some people accept or not but that is the truth...

but CVs changed his character slowly into pschy lover and then like 🤬

i really feel like killing CVs...

Mrunal deserves better roles than this... to be frank his character has more scope to perform different shades of acting... but i cannot see his role stooping so low... so i wish he stays in HD until he enjoys his work, but i want to see him in a +Ve character in HD or in any other show...

i know if i say this people will laugh on me... but want to share - when i joined mrunal facebook page he has only 50 to 55 likes but with his acting skills (though he got less screen space) he gained 100 members in very less span of time...

Just with his -ve role and very less (I can say) screen space he again that much popularity...

if he is given a good and +ve track in HD he will rock HD along with Rati
