SV has broken the mold of the typical indian hero figure on TV. the one thing dat bothers me is dat SV hasnt gotten his due yet. maybe its bad luck, bad timing, donno. but hope he gets all the joy & success he rightfully deserves!

Frankly speaking when i first saw Sumit in d initial promos of HD i was like who is dis maha lallu actor they have taken as male lead opposite rati? I hated his hairstyle. Then to add to dis rishi's shayaris were lame but one thing i did notice:his diction esp. of Urdu words was spot on. I was intrigued. Also in all d interviews promoting HD his quiet confidence stood out. Then Sumit slowly but gradually came into his own portraying d adorable yet irritating kirayadaar. U just couldn't decide whether he was an outright positive character or a negative one. Sumit used his expressive eyes to confound d viewers and d layers he gave to rishi were fascinating to watch. Of course his role is an author backed one and d testimony to dis r d killer dialogues and one liners dat rishi is identified with today. But Sumit added something to rishi: a vulnerability dat makes u want to root for him inspite of his cunning, his lies and his manipulative ways. Also oddly his jugaadu ways were a delight to watch coz he was so casual and flippant about it. Lol. An example of dis flippancy: when indira asks him how he managed to land in macau and he oh so casually tells her he sold his friend's bike to fund his trip. Lol. He is a refreshing male lead to watch and i hope we get d initial rishi back. Enough of being d doormat whom d sharmas just wipe their dirt on and dismiss in a second. Keep at it Sumit and u will very soon get ur well deserved due. Also on a side note my daadi and mum love Sumit. They find him to be a very decent man. Hahaha

Moreover ,he looks too good with indira. nov, dec, jan episodes are the cutest episodes, each episode i have watched 4-5 times .My family is in love with rishi/sumit.we watch HD only for Indira and Rishi.

I know the characters r made by cvs & writers, but the actor can make it live. Sumit had done it very well. Sumit has made us fans to love the character more... Happy along with his smile... & feel fans cry in sad scene. .

sumit is a vry good actor he puts his 100% to make the rishi character lovable n my family love rishi charcter n thy say rishi is the real jan of the show ...i hope he will get awrads for his brilliant work espcially in HD n all people recognize his telant n praise him...
